I must come clean here grin I haven't had a bath for about 7 years!!
I am a shower person through and through. Think I am too impatient by nature to fill and then wallow in a bath.I love my shower and feel invigorated afterwards rather than sleepy [which is what a bath used to do to me.]What about you? By the way, I am NOT a journalist. grin

More ideas needed for colours in bathrooms people! For tiles and walls, know this should be under 'homes' but as we are talking about baths etc.Caramel has been suggested for tiles, but I may want to be a bit more daring [for once] anyone got turquoise? I don't want things to look cold though.

I've got very deep royal blue on the lower half of the tiles with white on the top half. I copied DD1's because it looked so luxurious. smile She has a north facing bathroom, ours has very little natural light and neither of them look cold.

We have half tiled walls on the lower half (white) with chrome edging, we have painted the top half of the walls a sort of mint green and all the accessories (towel rails, toilet roll holder, mirror etc) are chrome as well. Looks rather nice.

Shower for me every day and I wash my hair every day otherwise the neighbours run away screaming when I leave the house.

Our main bathroom is small with white corner bath (but no shower), basin, loo and tiles. There is a border of pale blue, navy blue and purple glass squares, the walls are a moody purple, the towels a moodier purple and the floor grey. I love it!

En-suite has white walk-in shower, basin and loo with caramel shimmery tiles.

Shower room is white with white fittings and aqua sort of paint. The tiles are white with odd tiles dotted about which show pigs having a bath, shower, towelling dry etc. blush We put them in when it was used mainly by the children and each time we say we are going to change them there is uproar!

That moody purple sounds right up my street, kitty. I have been meaning to have my bathroom refitted for ages, but what's putting me off is that I live in a small house with no second loo and I fear it would take more time than I can live without it. So at the moment I am stuck with a pinkish-peachish suite, tiles to tone with that and terra cotta walls. Not as horrible as it sounds and at least it isn't avocado or (horror!) aubergine; and I hope I haven't offended anyone.
