Beige!

I went for my flu jab yesterday. In the waiting room were rows of similar aged patients, all in shades of beige! At the age of nearly 70, I would never consider wearing the colour. I stood out somewhat in black jeans with a brightly coloured checked shirt.
What shades do you feel suit your colouring, and do you wear the dreaded beige?smile

Pearls near the face light you up!But if wearing a 'string of pearls' wear them with something very up to date( as opposed to a twinset.) grin

I have a classy camel coat, rubysong
And a pink one
And a red one
And a black one

Not extravagant, they are years old apart from the black one which I bought last year as everything seemed so bright grin

I'm beginning to feel a bit sorry for 'beige' now! As Anzza says, there's light, creamy beige and dull, brownish beige. I really don't like 'camel', it looks very old-ladyish to me!

Oh!
Well, I didn't wear it last year (or the year before come to think of it) so perhaps it should pace off to the charity shop grin

It cost so much .....
I am an old lady ....
You can make it look classy and smart with a pashmina .....
Can't you?

Or with ripped jeans?

Ah, but the colour of that coat is 'beige' to me, and looks lovely! 'Camel' in my mind is darker and more sort of gingerish...grin

It just goes to show how many interpretations there are of certain colours.

I am off to rip my jeans grin
