Help - how do you store your scarves?

Admittedly I do have a bit of a scarf obsession - around 20? But I've got to the stage now where they're all bunched up in the top of my wardrobe. Or hidden under my coats in the entrance hall. So, I need some ideas on the best way of storing them - to minimise bunching so I can actually see what I've got. What do you do? Please tell me I'm not alone! grin

Thanks so much nanaRayna , I saw your tip a few weeks ago and now have all my silk scarves neatly tucked into toilet roll centres .The scarf drawer is very tidy now and I dont have to spend time unravelling the one I need .Thanks again !

I got a sort of folding honeycomb drawer tidier on-line and have that in a drawer with scarves rolled into 1 slot each. Only works with soft scarves though, thick, warm ones usually say with the coats I wear them with.

I recently saw a video on different uses for hanging shoe organisers and one of the ideas was to roll scarves and store them in the pockets. Thinking of trying this myself.

Fold each scarf in to a rectangle, use the coat hangers usually used for skirts and trousers with the 2 clips at the top with,a lot of these the clips can be pushed along a bit so they are closer together for smaller scarves, then simply clip each scarf with the hangers then hang in your wardrobe.
This keeps them tidy, they don't get all creased and you can see them all easily so if you have a lot like me (40+) you don't forget what you have!

Mine are rolled á la Kondo and stood on end in a big lidded box.
If I hung each on its own hanger I'd need another wardrobe ?

I have some Shaker hook rails fitted to the inside of my wardrobe doors by DH, brilliant for hanging scarves and even snail handbags on. You can buy them from DIY stores.

I've just sorted all my scarves (15 or so) and they're rolled up and standing end-on in a drawer. It hasn't saved any more space but now I can see them all without having to burrow down to find the right one. It remains to be seen whether they get more creased; I think there will be the usual culprits that need ironing before wearing, but I tend to avoid those anyway! So far so good.
