For me it's

Tressemme firm hold Hairspray
TiGi Colour goddess Shampoo
Liz Earle moisturiser
Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation (expensive but really does last for hours)
Perfume preferably Bulgari Omnia Indian Garnet
and please can I add just one more ..... Aveeno hand cream
ooh and another .....Liz Earle cleanse and polish

and I thought I wasn't really bothered that much by beauty products! shock

I think hairbrush, comb and toothbrush should be allowed outside the list!. I'm going away on Sunday and will pack:
Liz Earle cleanser and moisturiser,
Bare Minerals foundation
Bourgeois blusher
Hot brush
Hand cream

If I were to be allowed another few my list would include:
Conditioner
Green people shower gel
Clarins body lotion

Went to a talk by Sali Hughes who writes on cosmetics for The Guardian the other night. Her three must haves were concealer, blusher and perfume.
But then she is much younger! Obviously doesn't need tweezers yet...but did use tinted moisturiser which is one of my must haves.

Most of mine are what others have said - but I wouldn't be without Palmer's
Cocoa Butter concentrated cream. I use it on my hands and feet at night.

Crikey! I hardly use any of these. Wear hardly any make up. Apart from the obvious shampoo etc I would say:

Lipstick L'oreal or max factor
Max factor pressed powder (old fashioned I know)
Hairspray silvikrin
Perfume Chanel no 5
Tweezers for removing bristles from chin, eyebrows

Oh, and Nivea hand cream which goes on my face too

Have never coloured eyebrows - still dark. Occasional use of eyeshadow for special occasions, but wouldn't class it as essential.

Liscarney Fri 29-Jan-16 17:22:08

Pond`s cold cream for cleansing face (used mums)
Vaseline for lips and eyelashes

What a relief to know that I am not alone in having a "must-have" stash of cosmetics!

My current top five products (excluding toothbrush, hairbrush, shampoo, conditioner etc.) are:

Estee Lauder night cream/day cream/eye cream
Clinique foundation/loose face powder
Bobbi Brown blusher/highlighter
Clarins mascara
L'Occitane verbena hand-cream/body lotion

I could name at least five more essentials but am trying - sort of - to stick to the rules.

I have very dark under eye circles due to lack of sleep.

I have to wear concealer and have tried many over the years.
The best one I have been using for a while now is Clarins instant concealer. More like a foundation cream for under the eyes, and blends beautifully. I highly recommend it for those of you who have dark circles.

I wouldn`t leave the house without a bit of makeup , I feel naked ! and look ill !

Dream matt mousse foundation
Body shop blusher
Body shop grey eyeliner
Clinque hypoalergenic mascara
Lippy
Body shop vit E cleanser and toner
Vaseline for dry lips
Hair straighteners
Tweezers
Eyelure eye brow dye

My makeup etc lasts for AGES and I usually have to replace due to it going off so I am sparing and hopefully don`t look like a pantomime dame lol

f77ms Fri 29-Jan-16 17:49:35

Whoops , that's 10 sorry !

Juggernaut Fri 29-Jan-16 17:57:16

Helene, Try Clinique Take The Day Off Make Up Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips.
It's wonderful, doesn't irritate at all, shake before using, so not at all greasy and is suitable for contact lens wearers.
I have very sensitive eyes, and this is the only eye make up removing product I can use with no problems at all.

Jalima Fri 29-Jan-16 18:07:17

Tweezers
Facial moisturiser
Aveeno body moisturiser
Clinique blusher
Lipstick

(A light foundation, but I could get away without foundation as long as I have blusher)

The hairdresser recommended Moroccan oil rather than Argan oil which he said is too sticky; he didn't try to sell it to me so wasn't giving a sales pitch!

Jalima Fri 29-Jan-16 18:08:56

jack I could name more essentials to make me look almost human, but was trying to stick to the five! grin

LuckyDucky Fri 29-Jan-16 20:14:38

Waitrose's baby body butter - as a moisturiser
No7 tinted moisturiser as foundation
L'Oreal lippy & eye shadow
brown and black pencil for eye lids and eyebrows
white pencil for the corners of my eyes and when on the town, a tiny patch underneath my brows
Concealer

I read a review on a -- expensive-- different foundation, believe it and
bought a tube [angry}. It felt heavy on my skin, didn't feel as smooth and, worst of all, reacted against the baby body butter.

I've been unable to throw out the foundation sad

Treebee Fri 29-Jan-16 22:10:29

Lip balm, favourite is Cherry Chapstick, I think I'm addicted.

Mascara, couldn't be without it.

Cream blusher improves my face no end.

Concealer, none better than Touche Eclat. I sleep very well but have permanent dark circles under my eyes.

Hand cream, plus SPF

Very high factor sun cream, La Roche Posay works for me. I have PLE , the sun gives me rashes, and this cream greatly reduces their occurances.

Whoops, that's 6!

LuckyDucky Fri 29-Jan-16 22:42:23

Oops, my list extends to 7 blush

Deviation:
My hair is dry so Elvive with argan oil comes to the rescue.
