Would you wear this?

A bad photo but it looks very dull and safe.

On a personal level, I never wear anything with a clearly defined waist because in waisted outfits, even though I am not over weight, the answer to the question 'Does my bum look big in this?' is always 'yes' and I have the photos to prove it.

A dress with sleeves is very constricting - if I was wearing that I'd be dying to rip it off and wear something less suffocating. I've given up on dresses completely, anyway, but I don't see anything stylish in this one at all either.

It's a bit Jane Eyre, imho. It would be down to the floor on me, but probably looks better on.

Somebody said it would be the last thing she would wear and it looks like the last things -ready for the coffin perhaps.

But to be honest I did wear a long black woollen dress at 21 but I was slim and had auburn hair in those days. I often dressed down to make my hair noticable but now its grey and whispy and then and then........ hopeless.

The only dress I have is for summer - red with a small pattern in white. It's retro style, '50s. V neck, buttons down the front with a fitted waist, short sleeves and a full skirt.
I bought it at a 2nd hand stall in the local market for about 20€.
