Some people have it, others don't

I think I had it once without properly realising I had it, but I definitely lost it somewhere along the way. Haven't got it now. Can't remember where I put it or when I last saw it.
I'm definitely not still in the style I was wearing when I first fell in love - I remember from that time a red, green and white mini kilt (very mini ), with a bright red seersucker shirt and bottle green knitted waistcoat and - wait for it - bottle green knee high socks with white pearl buttons down the outside, and black 'tap shoes' (that is, in the style of) with inch wide red ribbon ties. If I rocked up anywhere these days dressed like that I'd probably be sectioned.

I think I am too for a gym slip . Anyway what ever it is - I don't want to have it

Well as I said Lully Jenni Murray regularly wears black bin bags. She has money, a friendly face, is super intelligent. I know she is quite big, or was, but that is no reason to dress so terribly. On the other hand she may like what she wears.

I wonder what she would say about the pjs I am wearing at present which are grey covered in coloured spots with a short sleeved top with sparkly flowers on the front.

Never had it. I do have a couple of friends who I always thought would even look good in a bin bag.

I think it helps if you have a small bust. Don't think I can ever look sleek with big boobs.

IT,is not so much what your wearing,as how your wearing it. IT,is something from within that shows on the outside.IT is more about being able to carry it off,and knowing how to wear it.Two people could wear exactly the same thing etc.
Some celebs on the red carpet can spend thousands on their outfit and look awful,another can be wearing the simplest,and look fabulous.

I have always wanted to go down the scarves route. Some women look amazing in them. Why are they so big? The ones I come across in the shops are big enough to move into. What is the secret of wearing a scarf without it looking very odd?

Come to think of it, back in the '60s, I loved empire line dresses and made several for myself. My wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses my mum and I made for my sister's wedding were all empire. As I had a waistline in those days, I had nothing to hide!

And what, pray tell, is wrong with loons? I had a pair soooo wide if I walked fast enough my ankles would get tied together.

hilda I think most of us do . I read an article once which said that you stay in the style you were wearing when you first fell in love !!! It certainly applies to me ...

All my life I have been trying to find my style. Unfortunately I have failed miserably. I still wear the same type of clothes that I wore in my 30's. I seriously need some help!

I don`t have it , I never really `dress up` and tend to wear the same sort of things , casual but pretty clothes often floaty type tops with tapered trousers or harem pants and flat shoes . Always wear make up though , it makes me feel so much better .
I always wonder what I would look like if I had a make over with money no object , it would be fun but not sure I would be comfortable !

It is my aim to look like Judi Dench! it does come from within, I'm sure, it's about being comfortable in one's own skin. I could wear Judi Dench's clothes and look like a bag lady.

Yes,you've either got it or you haven't,It's not something money can buy,a lot of celebs don't have it.Judy Dench Definatly got it,it comes from within.Apparently( so I'm often told) I have it.
