I normally have a lot of time for Camilla and like her style, but this time her fashion adviser somebody needs sacking!!

grin

Anniebach Sun 29-May-16 10:24:03

Not a good choice

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 29-May-16 10:24:54

Unfair picture! Part of the dress is still behind the fender of the car. I think it would have been really pretty in actuality.

Juggernaut Sun 29-May-16 10:27:07

For a woman who usually looks so elegant, this seems a bit off!

Teetime Sun 29-May-16 10:27:23

Od hear - has she come as a lampshade? I quite like Camilla though.

whitewave Sun 29-May-16 10:28:24

I have tiered dress, worn it once - clearly one of my errors- of which there are many - I have a wardrobe full of them.

Mine is a midnight blue though. Camilla nearly always wears cream.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 29-May-16 10:35:26

Does it turn into tiered trousers at the bottom? Still think it might be quite nice. Ish.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 29-May-16 10:36:10

It's growing on me.

whitewave Sun 29-May-16 10:36:40

No it just looks like a frock. I think it would be better if it was all the same colour.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 29-May-16 10:36:45

And I'm spending too much time on it. roastchicken

Jalima Sun 29-May-16 10:36:50

Reminds me of those ra-ra skirts so popular with little girls about 30+ years ago

More no-no than ra-ra on a woman of 70 (ish)

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 29-May-16 10:37:23

No! I think it goes into trousers a few tiers down.

Anniebach Sun 29-May-16 10:37:39

I dislike frills on any frock

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 29-May-16 10:39:07

DD agrees with me. We could put this on the argument thread!

annodomini Sun 29-May-16 10:51:07

How undignified to have to hold her own umbrella. If a flunkey had been holding it, she could have managed her skirts to greater advantage...perhaps.

tanith Sun 29-May-16 10:52:12

shock and thats all I have to say grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 29-May-16 10:54:50

They live in a different world though. Probably fitted in perfectly well at the *very^ high society wedding she was going to.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 29-May-16 11:26:14

Why shouldn't she have fun at her age? Try something new. Is it so different from wearing purple. Or worse than dyeing your hair bright red just to shock?

Can't have it all ways can we?

Charleygirl Sun 29-May-16 11:27:33

In word word, hideous. It probably cost a fortune.

Jenty61 Sun 29-May-16 11:29:32

shes modelling a toilet roll cover!

Luckygirl Sun 29-May-16 12:23:03

It looks rather like a toilet roll cover!

ninathenana Sun 29-May-16 13:07:52

shock what was she thinking as someone said it would have helped if it was all one stronger colour
On second thoughts.........

Indinana Sun 29-May-16 13:45:28

Surely no-one over the age of 5 should wear that many frills wink

granjura Sun 29-May-16 13:49:23

dreadful dress- but who cares?
