I normally have a lot of time for Camilla and like her style, but this time her fashion adviser somebody needs sacking!!

Anniebach Tue 31-May-16 22:55:50

Did you work for the windsors or the P & P of Wales?

Nonnie1 Tue 31-May-16 21:42:38

Willsmadnan,

I suppose what I meant was that I take people as I find them and I find her to be cheerful, but I know what happened so I can't get over that..

Oh bugger I'm drowning now smile

Jalima Tue 31-May-16 21:42:08

and to see her modelling it on GN!

Sorry about that, hate sewing anyway, although I do enjoy watching other people struggling on the GB Sewing Bee

granjura Tue 31-May-16 21:39:36

tragedy and disaster ... was so excited at the prospect ;)

Jalima Tue 31-May-16 21:38:13

damn, the needle broke and snagged the lovely vintage net.
Never mind, there is hope that Camilla's will be in a charity shop soon

Jalima Tue 31-May-16 21:36:57

I have my sewing machine out as we speak, running up some old white and cream net curtains making jingls a copy of That Dress
grin

granjura Tue 31-May-16 20:12:16

and on that, I think we almost have hunanimity (apart from jingl) - rare that smile

Ana Tue 31-May-16 20:04:37

Maybe, but this thread is (or was) about Camilla's dress and our opinions of it.

granjura Tue 31-May-16 19:59:46

I believe they were all victims of a dreadful institution- Camilla, Charles and Diana ...who certainly had very deep emotional/mental issues dating from childhood.

Anniebach Tue 31-May-16 19:51:47

Diana was bulimic before she married ,

Anniebach Tue 31-May-16 19:50:06

Cruel and determined? Cruel to whom and determined to get what?

willsmadnan Tue 31-May-16 19:33:27

So Nonnie1 you have decided the D of C 'is/was a cruel and determined individual. ' Then you say you haven't met her and if you did you'd probably like her. How odd. Does that mean you quite like cruel and determined individuals?confused

Nonnie1 Tue 31-May-16 18:08:25

I don't think I'm being bitchy. I'm just saying what I think. I have nothing against her, and if I met her I'd probably like her, but it's what...they...did that I can't forget.

Nelliemoser Tue 31-May-16 17:54:34

I agree it is truly dreadful. It looks as if her bloomers are falling down. She can dress a lot better than that.

gettingonabit Tue 31-May-16 17:52:41

I doubt Camilla gives a d..n about what people think of her clothes, or any other factor of her appearance for that matter.

She seems to be totally without vanity. Good for her.

Ana Tue 31-May-16 17:47:24

Now that is verging on bitchiness! hmm

Nonnie1 Tue 31-May-16 17:45:27

I'm sure Camilla is a nice enough lady in her own right, and looks like she enjoys life but she was/is also a cruel and determined individual and that is an aspect of her personality I don't like.

I don't care what she looks like

Alea Tue 31-May-16 17:38:36

Bit of an over-reaction or what?
It is not bitchy to express an opinion of a dress, for heaven's sake!

Anniebach Tue 31-May-16 16:55:52

Lazigirl, you have never looked at a wedding and said - I don't like that dress , or said the same to a companion in the street/pub/tea rooms / at home ?

Lazigirl Tue 31-May-16 16:38:18

Can't believe the bitchiness going on here. I'm with Magsymoo on this one.

AnnieGran Tue 31-May-16 12:38:01

Oh my! That is truly horrible. Makes me feel quite close to her.smile

Lilyflower Tue 31-May-16 09:54:35

Doesn't she know that ONLY the bride gets to wear white or cream at a wedding?

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 23:16:36

It was last week.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 23:16:13

It wasn't William's wedding. It was Duke of Wellington's daughter to some Spanish bloke.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 30-May-16 23:14:01

look at all the yardsa of material the bride dragged around
