Hip, hip, gilet!

Daphne you wouldn't want that Gilet on in my garden at the moment: not unless you want to melt

It is roasting here today, clearly my navy gilet did the trick!
I am still resisting the pink one and might manage to go on resisting until the weather turns again

Granjura that is terrible . The dreadful things we do to our fellow creatures is shocking , I will look for the label in future .

Came across a £10 off voucher and.......I succumbed.

Tried born marche yesterday and there were2 different giblets, neither covered my bum and both were very thin,so didn't buy one. They were priced at 25 quid, expensive for what they were as they felt cheap and they were not warm.

I must apologise because of this b..... tablet it keeps altering words. I meant of course go let not giblet. Lol

Arrrrgh g I l e t. Any advice how to stop the tablet from changing words would be welcomed.

Ah yes, a gilet must cover the giblets otherwise there is no point in wearing one. ?

14 deg C here today in north Scotland and threatening MORE rain. Yesterday I wore a light shirt, light fleece and a fleece gilet. In our workshop today which is always cold, resisting the temptation to put the heating on.

Go for the bright pink, brightens up a cold grey day

Looks nice Daphne ...but wouldn't suit me, I would feel like a tortoise peering out of it's shell ( the collar) although I do find a gilet useful for gardening in, keeps the arms free but gives a bit of warmth all round ( only buy cheapo ones.)

I would love the pink gilet but have a very red nose, think Coco the Clown, so had to buy the navy one. It is lovely.

I sallied forth this morning in my new navy gilet as it is exceeding parky. Felling the bees knees, of course. Dropped DH at Drs and walked down to the Co-op for Grace's (current) favourite dog food. On the way back I was facing into the wind so I thought I would do the zip up. Alas it seemed to have been put in back to front which was when I realised I had been wearing it inside out again.
I fully expect to find my knickers are on back to front next.

Me too, Daphne. I walked all round a book festival wearing mine inside out. I found out when I tried to zip it up and of course I blamed the zip. We can't both be eejits can we? ?

Maybe your'e meant to wear them inside out.

Anyway, it's all you gilet wearers that have caused this sudden colder weather...
