One of my D in L's friends complimented me on my new hairdo and said it made me look younger ?

I was admiring my 'Bob' when I realised it looked familiar and was the same as some well known personality. I then realised it was just like Grayson Perry ?

Not with the bow as well...? confused

Eloethan Sat 15-Oct-16 17:06:27

That conjured up a lovely vision for me smile

And the frocks (and lippy) to match I hope!

NotTooOld Sat 15-Oct-16 17:09:19

NanKate grin. I like Grayson Perry! You must get a frock like his to set off your new hair-do!

No bow or party dress, more likely a slide and comfy warm clothes, plus Hotter shoes.

Do you resemble someone well known ?

I love Grayson Perry. I hope that your makeup was slightly better than his. He hasn't quiet got the hang of it yet

I do like purplish lipstick as it makes my teeth look whiter, however the rest of my makeup is pretty ordinary Petra.

Roses will join you again in 2017 as we are doing 'heavy duty' family assistance down in Sussex. Got back yesterday and off back down there on Friday.

Son also staying with us some nights as he is on tour in this area. It's all go.

Lovely to be back in own bed for a few nights. moon

Are you sure purplish lipstick doesn't make you look like someone on the mortician's table, as it does me? Only saying!

When I was in my teens I was told I looked like the girl in Last Tango in Paris, which was rather nice .

However, in recent years my family tell me I look like Wendolene from the Wallace and Grommit film A Close Shave!

Always being told look like susan sarandon.last year in Palma two german ladies asked could they take a photo and would i give them an autograph lol ?

I went to the hairdresser recently to get the last of my highlights cut off so I can show off nature's natural highlights (!) I showed my hairdresser some shots of short A-line graduated bobs. I was thinking Helen Mirren but came out more Theresa May shock. It's grown a bit so I'm a bit Lulu 1965/Grayson Perry grin.

Ive been told often over the years that I look and sound like Joanna Lumley. If only!

Venus Sun 16-Oct-16 10:41:01

People say that I look like Maureen Lipman. Not sure if that's good, or bad!

gillyknits Sun 16-Oct-16 10:44:37

Many years ago someone said I looked like Julie Andrews. Shame that I sing like Kermit the frog!

Blinko Sun 16-Oct-16 10:45:25

An old flame once told me I looked like Jane Fonda....as if! grin

I used to be told that I looked like Olive from 'On the buses'. I grew my hair and got contact lenses pretty quickly.

ninathenana Sun 16-Oct-16 11:31:29

I aspire to look like Dame Judy. I have the pixie haircut.............
grin

grandMattie Sun 16-Oct-16 12:30:12

I used to be told I looked like Francoise Hardy. But suspect only because I'm tall, had long hair and spoke French! A shame...
Now? Goodness knows

Lupin Sun 16-Oct-16 12:45:04

When I was young I used to be nicknamed Nana Mouskouri when I had the long hair and dark framed big specs. I suspect I now look more like Olive from On the Buses.

Legs55 Sun 16-Oct-16 13:51:59

I used to be compared with the late Anne Kirkbride (Deidre off Coronation Street) mainly because we had same hairstyle & I wore large sun-glasses. Not sure who I look like now - not asking DD as I don't think I'll like the answer hmm

DanniRae Sun 16-Oct-16 14:13:01

I was once told I looked like Diana Rigg (many years ago). I am not like her now, however. I was also told I looked like Ruby (the scullery girl) from Upstairs, Downstairs. On a bad day I guess?? hmm

As a young nurse I was forever being told by the patients /relatives that I looked and sounded just like Pam Ayers the poet who was very popular at that time .evey day I some one would say do you know who you remind me off Nurse!!!!
