One of my D in L's friends complimented me on my new hairdo and said it made me look younger ?

I was admiring my 'Bob' when I realised it looked familiar and was the same as some well known personality. I then realised it was just like Grayson Perry ?

I was stopped by a man at Victoria Station in London who said he was from an agency called 'lookers' he told me that I looked like Dr Shipman and would I be interested in going for an audition. I declined his "kind" offer.

I've been told more than once that I look like Angela Pleasence. She has played some pretty awful looking characters in the course of her career but she doesn't look terrible all the time so I take heart from that ?

For those old enough if I wear any kind of hat I look like Benny in Crossroads " oh Miss Diane! "

I apparently look like Denise Welsh, but I don't drink as much as she does

Grandmattie! I too was a Francoise Hardy look alike in my teens. Probably also because I was tall and had long blonde hair. Sadly even then I lacked those amazing cheekbones.sad

Loopylou, I love you ?. I used to be told that I looked like Princess Margaret, in her very young days, ?

loopy you seem to have an attractive dark haired look, but I haven't got my glasses on just yet! grin

Thank you Loopy for making me laugh! I had to stop reading the thread about songs that make Gransnetters cry because the stories were making me cry. Then I saw your photo and it made me chuckle - just what I needed grin

I have been told over the course of many years(by young and old) that I look like Rita from Coranation st. Should I feel flattered or what

Afterwards.......?
Actually my lovely hairdresser works miracles on my fine White silver hair that I'm growing into a short bob. He's the first one for years who a) listens to what I want and b) doesn't insist on 'thinning the bulk' (it's fine and not at all thick)

PS sorry for high-jacking, I don't apparently resemble anyone of note or notoriety!

I was once told I looked like Judy Dench. She s much older but we do have the same lower face, chin line etc. I took it as a compliment! And the tattoo on her wrist is the motto I use to live by, and I ve said I want it tattooed on my wrist but she beat me to it. Ironical as its " CARPE DIEM! " ( seine the day)
