When are you too old for leopard print?

If ever? And I don't mean head to toe chavtastic.

But I've got a lovely black jumper with a leopard print collar which I love and think looks very smart. But the other week my DH commented on it being unsuitable for me. Of course that made me insist on wearing it on every occasion but now I'm wondering if other people are perhaps thinking me mutton dressed as lamb...

It's winter - I live in my 50s leopard print coat and raincoat. I have leopard print ankle boots, 50s leopard print pill box hat, handbags ....I do leopard and in style. Red lipstick, Louboutins with spiky heels ...... Style and confidence have no age limits - if it makes you feel good - then wear it - it will show
My boat isn't leopard proof either - a beautiful print throw from Zara, a 50s (there's a theme here) tea service and latest addition - a garland of golden leopard print leaves. As my boat was built 110 years ago - I don't think it's too old for leopard either

I suddenly visualised dear departed Victoria Wood - with coiffured hair and enthusiastic voice - posing as a gushing women's programme presenter and asking this question.

When you're too old to bend over backwards on the hostess trolley?

Well if you can't manage that you could always be beaten on the bottom with the Woman's Weekly!
