Hmm. Just looked the word up. No, not good. A bit of idiocy there I think.

Must watch that on catch-up though. Love Richard Allam. (saw him at the Globe. Gorgeous bloke)

I never watch the programme but did watch yesterday's on catchup . He joined in the fun, went off camera for a make over then did a fun entrance , impossible to hear what the word was ,

I had to Google it too.
It refers to a person so how can he have
"hair, makeup and fluffer" done confused

Oh yes, I remember now that you didn't seem to care much for him on Strictly petra.

petra Fri 06-Jan-17 20:54:55

whitewave Andrea had to inform him that: it's not that type of show.
Ana Because that's the light I've always seen him in 'not nice'. That's putting it politely

Only caught the last couple of mins of Loose Women ( drat, as wanted to see Roger Allam talking about Endeavor) so obviously missed the treat of seeing Ed Balls prancing.

(that was to ww)

Ana Fri 06-Jan-17 20:43:22

Exactly.

rosesarered Fri 06-Jan-17 20:43:20

I could use this to dislodge cobwebs? grin

whitewave Fri 06-Jan-17 20:41:43

Well if it's that rude he would not have used it on television, and I think loose women is on in the day isn't it?

whitewave Fri 06-Jan-17 20:40:39

Never heard of the word - mind you he has a speech impediment and perhaps he said fluffier.

wot Fri 06-Jan-17 20:39:59

Dirty devil.

wot Fri 06-Jan-17 20:39:33

I just googled it!! ?

Ana Fri 06-Jan-17 20:35:48

And how on earth is the use of the word 'showing him in his true colours' confused?

phoenix Fri 06-Jan-17 20:32:38

So, what exactly IS a "fluffer"' ??

petra Fri 06-Jan-17 20:28:42

Did anyone see him on the programme ? I always thought that there was something 'not nice' about this man and on loose women he showed his colours.
He had a make over and came prancing down the cat walk and proudly proclaimed that he had had it all done: hair, make up and fluffer. Now this last word is used for someone who is employed in the porn industry.
I'm no prude, I could hardly be if I knew what a 'fluffer' is, but to to even think this and use the word on a lunchtime programme shows him in his true colours.
