I've been a slave to Clinique forever but I'm finding it a bit dry for my skin the past few months and perhaps I need to swap to something for more mature skin. Are there any moisturisers you'd recommend?

Is this a competion?
Aqueous cream BP It works well it is not perfumed and inexpensive.
" PACKAGE LEAFLET: INFORMATION FOR THE USER
AQUEOUS CREAM BP
(HYDROUS EMULSIFYING OINTMENT)
(Paraffin Soft White and Paraffin Liquid)"

Astral Ingredients.
Aqua, paraffinium Liquidum, Glycerin, Paraffin, Lanolin,Ozokerite, Lanolin Alcohol, Petrolatum, Isopropyl Myristate, Magnesium Sulfate, Parfum, Propylparaben, 2 Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1, 3-diol, Alpha-isomethyl Ionone, Amyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Alcohol, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Linalool.

From the last few ingredients in the list Astral appears to contain perfume. The less crap you put on you skin the better.

I have pretty skin and few wrinkles at 72 (genetics). I use the products on offer, or hand creme. I always have something on my skin, never do I go without at least creme.

As I have posted before when this has come up, I would post a photo but you wouldn't believe it so I will keep it to myself ? As if?

Good skin is largely genetic and the exposure to the sun, smoking etc. Don't think any cream, however expensive can improve it much. As long as you moisturise every morning and night, your skin will probably be as good as it can be. Think getting out in the fresh air and walking if you can helps to. Don't worry about wrinkles if you have them, its you that matters.

I don't use anything, I never have it's just never seemed important I m always told I look young for my age although I see all the blemishes myself but I never get spots I think it's Genes my Dad had a very smooth skin and very few wrinkles he was nearly 92 when he died and people thought he was about 72

I m going to be very controversial but I think all the stuff is just sold to make money out of you and has little value, you are what you are, be proud of it, every line has a story to tell so I m in Grannypipers camp

Aveeno - really good for dry skin. Feels lovely without clogging up your skin.
