Can you wear jeans with a wool coat?

Help (again!) please ladies - I need a new coat and am drawn to styles like the plain woollen type in Allsaints. But I spend my life in jeans - the models in Allsaints might look good wearing the two together but at 68 I'm not sure if I would! What would you suggest? Any ideas gratefully received smile

You can wear any coat or jacket with jeans! Why not?

Going up tomorrow to look round the big shops, see if I can find anything nice. TY all for advice xx
