How many lippies?

About 8. There's another similar thread on clothes, shoes and handbags under 'ashamed of myself'....you'll be astounded at the amount some ladies have !!

About 5 but all been used once and rejected - I can never find one that I like myself in!

I loved the look of the Dior ones... I just need somebody to tell me to get one.. LOL!

I love the Dior ones they have great colour and 'feel'. I have four Clarins, 1 Dior, 4 Chanel, 2 Lancôme- 1 Charlotte Tilbury Lip Gloss (waste of money). Going to JL tomorrow so I feel a new one coming on but there is never anyone on the Dior counter in Leicester.

Has anybody tried the Dior lip balm/lipsticks ? I forget the name now which isn't a great help lol

I can’t pretend we wouldn’t be so much better off if I didn’t keep spending. I’m waiting for the huge wall of disapproval that’s probably coming down on me!

I have one. I couldn’t tell you the make or colour, but it looks natural.

When I first left home very many years ago, my mother told me I had left fourteen lipsticks behind.

I've only ever got one. It's a clinique one. No idea what colour it is as, every time it runs out and I have to get another one, it's become obsolete so the lady has to try to match it to the stump of the old one.

I own two Max Factor lipsticks, they are both long lasting. So on for most of the day. I never go out of the house without wearing it.
I have memories of my mother putting on lipstick at 10 o clock at night, just before my father got in from work.

I'm embarrassed to admit how many.
I never go out without lipstick and mascara. I look ill without them.
My neighbour once called an ambulance, because she thought she was having a heart attack. (It was actually a panic attack).
When the ambulance arrived, the paramedics tried to take my blood pressure, thinking I was the patient, as I was so pale. (I had no make up on}.

Far too many; not that I am obsessed with lipstick, it's just that on many days I look like a lightly warmed corpse without some, in spite of foundation, blusher and a little eye makeup, but I can't seem to buy a colour that I really like. They look fine in the shop, I use the tester on my wrist, buy the colour and then when I put it on at home there is usually a wail of disappointment.

Me neither BlueSaphire but I shall have to rein it in - it’s getting ridiculous! I’ve bought a lip brush recently to poke into the bottoms of some of the tubes - my parsimonious nature coming out. But I think I’d like to use them all up and then have say just 4 on the go - a pink, coral, red and a coffee colour. If I don’t buy any more for a couple of years I can finish the ones I have. Ive known for years that ? are one of my obsessions, along with handbags, perfume and books!

Four Chanel, two Max Factor and one Avon.
Trying to use the cheap ones up and then just stick to Chanel, as I love the feel of them, (and they look smart). And the Chanel ones last ages. Mind you, can't go past the Chanel counter in duty free without buying something!

1 that I use maybe three/four times a year. I used to always wear makeup, lippy/eye shadow/mascara/powder, but over the years I have stopped bothering, only time now is special do or the very occasional times when I meet friends for lunch.

Oh I love lipstick! I have just counted 17 here .... and I know I have about a dozen over in our apartment in Malaga.

I don’t ever go out without some on, mascara and tinted moisturiser too. I’ve always put on make up before going outside. I used to work in an office and 5 minutes prep just became my routine!

I agree with that Coolgran Most of my friends don't wear lipstick, even if they wear make up. I feel pastey-faced without my lippy.

About six. All the same colour. One in my bag. In kitchen. In bedroom. In bathroom. At computer. In makeup box. A friend once said ... always wear lipstick as it totally lifts your face. And so it does. Rimmel Amethyst Shimmer. Can only find it on line these days.

Two. Very different shades one a gloss wand and one a more conventional tube type lipstick. Don’t wear full makeup every day but always wear lippy

Two which I never use. Always put mascara on though!
