Porridge with ground linseed and skimmed (watery) milk and oat cakes for snacking?
What a cheerless, joyless way to start the day.

If it's gently rounded tummy, why do anything? If it is because you are overweight I cannot see what the advantage of trying to hold it in is, it cannot hide the fact that the excess weight is there and affects your shape.

Best thing to do is lose weight or just relax and be comfortable as you are.

The Plank!

I’m advocating Pilates! And yet not doing it for my merry belly! Seriously. Stop with the corsety underwear. Shop smart for loose clothes. Or exercise. I do the former.

I didn't know that anyone wore this kind of thing these days!
Apart from, perhaps, for a wedding (take it off after the photos and breathe) or celebs going to a red carpet event.

I'm sure there are lots of ladies on here who have wonderful bodies and don't need this kind of lingerie. I find that I need some corsetry to help me face the day as it boosts my confidence knowing that I look my best: it helps smooth my bumps and my dresses hang lovely. Yes it can be uncomfortable at times, especially in summer, but I can put up with that.

I probably need it and probably my dresses do not hang lovely but, then again, I can't remember the last time I wore a dress.

uncomfortable in the summer - as long as you're happy and pleasing yourself, that's fine.

I can't envisage not wearing a dress. What do you wear to look smart or to formal occasions?
