Bags..large / small?

What's your bag of choice?

For work and life purposes, I've always needed and preferred a large tote type bag, even my purse is rather large!
However lately it's all become a bit heavy.

I loathe the grab bag type and am not keen on those stuck on the crook of the elbow either so thinking about crossbody bags.
Any recommendations etc

I’ve been converted to crossbody bags this year, I recently bought two lovely leather ones which are light but big enough for everything I need to carry. They feel nice and secure too. They shouldn’t dig into your neck but rest on your shoulder. I have a nice nylon tote I take shopping too.

Cross body small to medium sized bag. Must have the insides of a Tardis though as I carry everything bar the kitchen sink according to my OH.

Cross body bag, as small as possible just for essentials.
My bad back just won't accept anything else.
I like Kipling bags because they are lightweight.

I keep my phone and wallet in my pockets while shopping then drop them back into my bag when I get back into the car-

I have a medium sized cross body bag, and also a little backpack when I'm out during the day.
I have a dressier black bag, and a small clutch type black evening bag when going out.

I found during the summer that I often didn’t need to take my bag, just my phone with a cash card and a tenner tucked in it. I was worried about carrying it everywhere and have at last found a purse with space for cards, a bit of cash, my phone and door and car keys - and a long cross body strap.

Of course, if they could make women’s clothes with proper pockets it would be really lovely!

Smallish navy leather backpack. I prefer crossbody but have had a few embarrassing moments when the buttons blouses/shirts popped open when they’ve caught on the strap.
Got shoulder issues so keep bag small. I keep a nylon lightweight carrier in my bag for emergencies.
