I am now totally grey - lighter on top layers and a sort of iron grey (Horsey ladies will understand this reference!) underneath. I am happy with the colours and think they suit my skin tone BUT how I miss the deep shine I once had. I use conditioner and, sometimes, a mask , and these soften my hair but it is dull!! any helpful hints please?

Philip Kingsley Elastersizer
or Olaplex

Agree with the Elastersizer and also use his strand plumping cream when drying my hair. You do need to protect it more, as it greys, from the heat of the dryer.

Haven't heard of Olaplex so will have a look thanks

Another Olaplex fan here. I use the shampoo 3, conditioner 4 and then a few drops of finishing oil 7 and the bond smoother 6. Completely changed my hair.
Lookfantastic.com has a deal on different bundles.
Yes, it is expensive but I only need to wash my hair once a week now and it looks great all week.

For those of you loving the Olaplex, I have just been looking it up and it's now available on QVC.

If you want to try it they do have a very good try and send it back policy if it isn't for you. I'm not sure how the price compares but there are videos explaining each item.

Agree Philip Kingsley Elasticizer a couple of times a week. White Hot Hair Glorious Shampoo and Luminous Conditioner used all the time. Fabulous shine with those. I wouldn't be without any of these. The White Hot Hair products are fabulous but these 2 in particular are fantastic. Truly worth trying. Give them a couple of weeks and they just seem to get even more shiny! You'll be needing sun specs to look in the mirror if you get sunlight on your hair!

I want to start looking trendy and modern and wear trendy clothes, but I think I need a hairstyle first, what kind of hairstyle do you think is right for me?

I'm allergic to most things, so wash my hair with diluted bicarbonate of soda, use diluted apple cider vinegar as a final rinse, then a tiny bit of coconut oil when it's dry - and it shines!

Ive been using WOW as recommended by India Knight in the Sunday Times. I’m not sure it gives me volume but my hair is glossier than its been in years and my blow dry last longer too.

Try Phillip Kingsleys Elasti STYLER after washing and conditioning ,then I use just two drops of Pure Colour from the same company. Its a small bottle of clear finishing product .They are quite expensive but I've been using the same bottle and tube for 6 months or more .
