Plain - but really can't describe how comfortable, loose, pure linen, £25.50, Lands End, bargain! (In a heatwave, it's just got to be function over form for me).

I think the clumpy, high heeled Mini Mouse sandals work wonderful well with this.
They will be getting so many of us viewing that link that they probably think it's going to sell so well that they're busy ordering a other shipment as we speak
That M&S dress is truly awful. I never bother shopping there, except for food. Coincidently I spent an hour this morning out of the heat, drooling over the dresses in LightintheBox. I would have bought most of them if money no object and my figure was better - overweight and saggy!
I could strangle M & S if it were a being. Like other posters I venture in there and come out feeling depressed that nothing appeals to me. Don't get me on the promotional emails I receive where the fashions and especially the models bear no relation to anything I would want to wear. Do you remember that campaign many years ago when they had the likes of Twiggy and Helen Mirren modelling clothes to appeal to that generation? For everyday wear, TU at Sainsbury's is my go to.Sainsbury's
I've just bought that dress, it's so comfortable. I've also bought a couple of M&S dresses yesterday, a blue and green patterned one and a navy and white striped t-shirt dress, both maxi dresses. Very pleased with all three purchases.
Words fail me and the rest of their stuff is awful. It was my go to store at one time. My friend and I walked through M& S just yesterday and absolutely nothing appealed. They had racks of a particular type of trousers all hanging by one corner and one end of the hanger, they looked like rejects or something, so peculiar. They will never ever appeal to young people so why do they try?
I do remember the likes of Helen Mirren and Twiggy modelling their clothes. The message I got from that campaign was, if even Twiggy can look dowdy in your clothes, I'll pass. I now never consider looking at their clothes for me but DH buys his trousers and polo shirts from there.
M&S - My sister and I go in their now and then and always come out saying that it was a waste of time. Roman - I love and have many of their items Landsend - I have just found them and ordered two tankinis which are really nice. I ordered shorts rather than bikini bottoms to go with them, which i find so much more flattering on women of a certain age! I will be back for more stuff soon.
Landsend - I have just found them They're very helpful
I ordered some tops months ago, one was out of stock but this week I got an email to say my Landsend parcel was arriving . It arrived and was a top I'd ordered way back in April and it was still at the original sale price, no postage charged.
