I saw a lady wearing a lovely, eye catching dress in M&S yesterday. When I complimented her on it she said she had bought it on line for £6 from one of those ads that you always suspect is a scam!
I did buy a pair of reasonably priced trousers, but most of the garments I looked at seemed very expensive for M&S and made of very nasty cheap fabric.
That looks a lovely cool, summery dress Jaxjacky, but the one that the OP posted looks like they ran out of fabric and finished it off with scraps off the cutting room floor.
Plain - but really can't describe how comfortable, loose, pure linen, £25.50, Lands End, bargain! (In a heatwave, it's just got to be function over form for me).
I think M and S have some extremely dowdy dresses at the moment. The patterns are especially bad. I haven’t bought a dress from there for ages, I got a nice one from Zara though.
I’ve just looked at the dress from the link you gave us toscalily. Apparently it is very popular as 6 others have just looked at it! I think that is probably down to the thread.
Just by the way I was having a stroll through our town centre parkland and I saw so many women in really lovely summer dresses The surgery receptionist had a gorgeous pink floral number with a sort of shirred (is that the right word) top and her nails were pink. I like it when people make an effort !
Lucca, I have been trying to think of a tactful way of saying just that to my best friend. At the first sign of the sun, out come the shorts - baggy, fitting, short or long - they really don't suit her - and the back views is errrr .... well, not good,
Best shopping trip for months today to McArthur Glen outlets at Swindon. M & S denim jacket and jumper for winter - a lot of clothes that I would buy compared to my recent visit to the High Street branch. Shoes and matching evening bag from Dune. Shoes, Clarks. Shorts and t-shirt dress, Joules. Assorted home accessories.
The Roman dresses look nice, but I generally don't like all the new ultra feminine dresses. I bought one from White Stuff, doesn't need ironing and has pockets. They have lots of nice dresses,
I’ve just bought this one from White Stuff and it’s lovely. Looks even better on and I’ve had so many compliments when wearing it. It’s incredibly cool and comfortable too.
I don’t think I’ve ever bought a dress for myself from M&S. Everything looks a bit last season. I’ve occasionally bought leggings and cotton cardigans I buy bras from Miss Mary of Sweden and knickers from John Lewis. M&S food is good though..
