I bought some in LA which worked (temporarily). Really scary watching it dry and the eyebags disappear in about a minute. Everything reverted to normal when you washed your face.
It was rather like the effect you get when you put a thin film of egg white on the area.

Avon anew under eye cream( it's a small purple tube) is probably the most effective one I have tried. Not the problem with white residue if applied carefully,also not too expensive.
Before this I had tried several,some quite expensive,and none good.
No cream will make a permanent difference.
I've found wearing sunglasses ,when appropriate,for photos much better for self esteem!

I trying Prai at the moment and it seems to work well. I used Nivea a for a time and that is very good and a reasonable price. The best one was Clarins but so pricy now (in excess of £60).

Creams do not work, but you could try an exercise I learnt and adapted one from the Eva Fraser Facial exercise book.

Open your eyes wide, grasp your top lip between your teeth and gradually raise your lower eyelid upwards in small slow movements as far as you can, then gently lower your eyelid. i do it three times first thing in the morning

This needs to be done in front of a mirror. I have been doing this exercise most days for a long time and it has done wonders for the bags under my eyes. It doesn't entirely eliminate them but it certainly helps.

My daughters and I use Lancome, we think it helps.

Maybe my older grandaughters as well, not sure.

I don’t think there’s much you can do to reduce dark circles as they tend to be caused by the thinness of the skin below your eyes. Your best bet is a concealer. I use L’Oreal Perfect Match which is only around £10 and lasts for ages as you only need to apply a tiny amount. I find it covers best if you apply it with a concealer brush.

Boots No7 have a good concealer with serum that I'm trying it certainly does it's job.

You made me laugh ... I read it you open you eyes wide grasped your top eyelid with your teeth instead of your top lip ! Silly me ... how often do we miss read things until we read it another once or twice ! Called aging but bought a smile to my face , thank you

I think Touché Eclat is vastly overrated, especially for the price. The L’Oreal concealer I use is far better and less that half the price of TE.

I think a lot of concealers have caught up now but when I first started using it the competition was awful. My neighbour told me about it because her son was an actor and she said it’s what they all used. I still think it’s still most likely to be the best on the market for photographs but it’s time I tried an alternative for everyday use.

Touche Eclat used to be just about the only thing you could buy but it has always seemed to me to be more of a highlighter than a concealer. There are lots of good long wearing concealers now, even waterproof, and lots of shades. Don’t put TE on eye bags!

I was persuaded to try Touche eclat on frown marks and under my eyes just before dd's wedding, of course, I had to go too far and put it on other wrinkles before asking DH what he thought. The answer was Sitting Bull before the battle of the Big Horn.
I also tried some Clarins lip scrub the get rid of lines and may as well have used sandpaper, all I got was sore chapped lips. I need to try some of the newer ones as well
