Hello
I’m thinking about buying this dress.
Which print do you prefer?
I can’t decide…
Thank you!

I hit the leafy one. My husband loves it. It’s a very good fit over the bust!

It is for a wedding where I am playing so needs to be comfortable.?

Haha Fanny,I’ve just looked in my wardrobe and I’ve got several dresses with patterns, so I clearly don’t follow my own advice. That’s so funny. I don’t wear dresses very often though so I’d forgotten. I wore completely plain black and navy for my mother’s funeral last week, but black separates. A black shirt, slightly flared, and a nice black top, plain but with a sheer black yoke and sleeves. And the sheer bit had little black spots on it. Then a dark navy lightweight formal jacket, black tights and dark navy flats with an embellishment on top (they’re gorgeous) and a dark navy bag with gold coloured chain strap. I think I looked okay.

I like the leafy print better, but the other one looks brighter. It depends what suits you.
I like Seasalt dresses with pockets. And not too expensive.

On Ebay there are sellers selling brand new Seasalt clothes which are either end of line or seconds. I've got two and they are great - much cheaper than full price. Also I find Seasalt dresses hide a multitude of sins! Lately I have put on quite a bit of weight which the dresses somehow seem to disguise.

Thanks Maddy, that’s the one that I bought smile

I prefer the first one, but whilst I know prints are fashionable, I prefer plain to prints. Having said that, the first one is definitely nicer in my opinion Fanny.

Hi Babs, yes I was a bit surprised at the thinness of the fabric.
I’m not bothered because I rarely get cold, but it’s odd that it’s not as thick as the summer dresses.
It hangs well and it’s very stretchy too!
Did you get leafy or flowery?

Babs758 Tue 20-Sept-22 18:42:48

The dress has arrived and it fits beautify and true to size.
The material is a little thinner than I thought it would be and needs a slip underneath. I got the tall fit so it is almost a maxi.

M&S has both dresses in quite a few sizes. Obviously best seller.

Let us know what you think when it arrives Fanny

Seasalt have an eBay outlet page with vastly reduced prices. Worth a look, there’s so much on there.

FannyCornforth Sat 17-Sept-22 09:26:22

I got mine from Next because I wanted it to arrive today

Well a size 22 one is on its way to me. I love the linen tunics and have three Seasalt ones, two in teal and one in a deep pink. They are gorgeous and very comfortable and wash well.

FannyCornforth Sat 17-Sept-22 09:20:08

Hello!
Well. I finally decided on the flowery one (I even nearly asked DH’s decision but didn’t; but I’m pretty certain that he would have gone for leafy)
I’m sometimes a bit concerned about looking too autumnal - orangey brown hair, orangey brown eyes…
But! Flowery was sold out in marquee size.
So leafy it is! ? ?

Serendipity22 Fri 16-Sept-22 21:56:30

I would say the leaf print, its just right for autumn.

Found!

Callistemon21 Fri 16-Sept-22 21:41:20

I find their sizes are a little smaller than White Stuff.

Yes, I fond that too.

NotTooOld Fri 16-Sept-22 21:38:56

The leafy one will limit you to wearing it only in the autumn. I would definitely go for the flowery one as you can wear it any time. I like the 3/4 sleeves. Seasalt is quite pricey but good quality. I find their sizes are a little smaller than White Stuff.

FoghornLeghorn Fri 16-Sept-22 21:29:01

I was in Seasalt earlier today and the assistant said they had just had their autumn range in. There were lots of lovely pieces there.
