Using make up for things they’re not meant to be used for….

I read about using lipstick as blusher so I tried it today and I think it looks ok ( I don’t think I look like Aunt Sally!). I also read about using blusher as eye shadow and I tried using a blusher that I found too bronze for his time of year as eye shadow and I think that looks ok too. I’ve used taupe eyeshadow on my eyebrows for years now. Mind you my eyesight is awful these days and I might look awful!

Would those who use eyeshadow for their eyebrows please tell me how to do it? Do you use a stencil or just brush it on?

I have a very fine brush that I use to just draw in some lines in the more sparse patches. I don't fill in the end near my nose as I don't want a thick line. Not sure what the brush was intended for originally, maybe a lipliner brush or eyeliner brush.

I use black permanent marker to write large S and large C on the shampoo and conditioner so I can tell the difference when I am in the shower without my specs.

Excellent idea Caleo I have trouble spotting the difference even with glasses. Come on packaging experts the bottle differences really do allow for errors like this.

Thank you to those who have given me advice about eyebrows. I am so accustomed to not having any, when I try to draw them in with grey eyeshadow I just look like a clown! I will keep trying with a finer brush.

I used a black eyebrow pencil to cover the scuffs on DD shoe heels. Touched a red car up with red nail polish. When DDs were little and GC and couldn't tell left from right I used to paint one big toe say left then put the same colour on the instep of all their left shoes and Wellingtons.
Nail polish remover takes sticky labels off glass I also took transfers off the mud flaps on one of DH's cars with it.

Someone posted this brilliant idea once before maybe it was you Caleo, it really does help. Thank you.

No Yammy, it was not me. I know this because I only thought of doing it about two weeks ago.
