I’ve spent my life as a beauty therapist so, first of all I must say that there is no substitute for a good, daily skin care routine.
Clean, moisturise and protect against UV and the environment. No smoking, sunbathing or alcohol.
However a regular facial can give your skin a real boost, there are so many specialist facials now that can improve your skin .
If you are going to have a one off relaxing treatment then it’s not going to do much for your skin health, just relax and enjoy it. If you don’t enjoy it then don’t bother again.
All I can say is that I have been treating quite a few of my clients on a monthly basis for over 30 years and they look great. No guarantee that they wouldn’t have looked great anyway of course🤷🏼♀️
