M & S knickers why can’t they leave well alone?

Although more expensive I buy Sloggi a size larger and Triumph Doreen Bras. They last for years and are really comfortable and good quality. I agree with you about Marks and that is why I left them.

I no longer buy my knickers at M&S, John Lewis’ are infinitely better both quality-wise and style.
Their ‘Everyday’ range beats M&S any day.

For me it’s their bra’s, each bra appears to be sized differently, can’t just go and get different styles same size 🤬 I also have to buy bra extenders as they are all too short across the back..

I’m thinking of buying/trying those one size bra’s that fasten at the front, anyone tried them?

Do Playtext or Triumph still exist? 😂

I think they stretch a little with wear - so if compared with older midi ones, maybe they're not 'considerably smaller'?

I'd complain by phone or online, anyway, as you were reassured by the assistant that the sizing was the same. They should offer to post replacements to you.

M&S, along with lots of other things nowadays, just isn’t what it was.

It’s their bras that I find they keep changing, you find a style that you like, next time you try to buy the same, it’s disappeared.

Shopping for most things is no pleasure.

Why do they have to keep changing things? I have been wearing their midi pants for years. Nice quality, nice designs, comfortable, wash well. buy 3 get 4th free. They used to come in plain colours with a wide lace insert at legs. They were called supersoft or something.

A couple of years ago they kept the style but changed to patterns. No problem. Went in today, no midis. Found an assistant who said they are now called high rise shorts. Boring colours but she assured me sizing was the same.

The lady on the till listened to me when I told her I was very disappointed that they have to keep changing things and she said “if I had a pound for every lady who has been in and said they want the midis back I would be a rich lady but they don’t listen to us.” I came home and measured them against my midis and they are considerably smaller so no good at all. It’s a 40 mile round trip for me to return them and I do expect they will charge me postage if I have to return them online which isn’t fair.

It used to be the case that M & S listened to what customers and staff said but apparently no longer. Mind you I think their standards have dropped throughout the store. We bought lunch in there and the girl taking our order was chewing gum the whole time we spoke. another older member of staff was clearing tables and looked dreadful with huge, ugly tattoos all over her bare legs. Disappointed with my shopping trip today.
