I have short wavy grey hair. Currently I use a bit of John Frieda Dream Curls Daily Styling spray. I think it gives a bit of hold for my waves, but could use a bit more shine.

Do you have some favourites for shine and hold?

I have natural wavy hair was curly but not so much now. I usually have hair cut twice a year to keep it a shortish bob. My hairdresser cuts it wet I go and scrunch it dry at home. She recommended Sea Salt spray to encourage the curl. I got some Got Tb in blue bottle I could not believe the results. It lifts my hair it does encourage curls and I don't need hairspray!

For anyone suffering from thinning hair I can thoroughly recommend caffeine shampoo. Both DH and SiL started and eight weeks in, what a difference. Both of them are now sporting much more hair which looks really thick. I'm presuming it would work equally as well on women too ?

Olaplex shampoo and their Perfector treatment. I have grey hair (I think …. covered up at the hairdressers with ash blond regularly) so it needs constant conditioning

Another vote for Olaplex. I used the pre-wash treatment and shampoo, then was given the mask as a gift, and my hair has never been in such good condition. Aldi do ‘ dupes’ of the Olaplex range, which get good reviews.

I like Olaplex now and then, but on a daily basis I use Only Curls. It doesn't weigh my curls down even when I use conditioner and curl creme, and their mousse is brilliant. I have their microfibre towel, which I use to scrunch my wet hair into a turban after my bath, and after 20 minutes or so I take it off and leave it to dry naturally. If I'm going out, I shampoo, condition and add curl creme to soaking hair, then scrunch it with the towel and dry it using a diffuser attachment on my hairdryer.

It's quite expensive, but lasts for ages, and there are often offers if you sign up for emails.
