Has anyone any good ideas to remove sun spots on face please? I have been putting factor 50 on and some cream that’s supposed to prevent them but I need to do something to make the ones I have a bit less prominent. I can cover with concealer but its not very long lasting or satisfactory. Any advice welcome.

I have had good results on brown , dry patches on my face using coconut oil and/ or Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream.

I have them from my years of being a “rotisserie chicken” in the sun from my teens, 20’s, 30’s… 😒

Mine aren’t so bad that I can’t conceal them. I use a GOOD concealer with good coverage that lasts all day. So you might have to try a different brand.

I believe you can have them laser removed if you want to go that route. See a dermatologist or a plastic’s site.

Eucerin Anti Pigment Spot Corrector really works. I think it was only about £12, if I remember correctly.

Nell8 I have also found Boots No 7 Future Renew helpful and try to buy it when they do 3 for 2.

A tad off subject but I’ve just had 2 cysts removed from my face by laser. 2 injections for pain and 30 mins of laser treatment was €150 administered by a doctor in a local clinic. Would have cost at least £500 in the U.K. (I do live in Spain). Excellent results now it’s healed. They would also be able to do brown spot removal at half the U.K. cost.

Candelle. I have used expensive ones but have honestly found that Maybelline concealers are the best cover up for me. Superdrug have a good variety, the liquid ones give the longest lasting finish I find.

I read somewhere that lemon juice helps them to disappear.

Hi
I have pale skin, uneven skin tone and a few age spots, I am so fed up of looking so pale, it makes me look ill.
Can anyone suggest anything please.
Many thanks

I use Avon Tinted Moisturiser spf 20 nutra effects. I also always have a tube of BB cream which I get at Aldi. Cheap as chips and i just use that over brown patch.

Prescribed Sun Sense SPF 50 by dermatologist for actinic keratosis, which is sun damage on skin. I use the tinted version of this, expensive but lasts a long time. Use this all year round, and it covers brown spots.
