Leopard print

It only looks cheap and tacky if it’s a tacky garment, made in cheap fabric 🙄 I think you mean “it’s not to my taste” 🤷‍♀️

I hate it, never worn it, but once as frock for my part in a drama for our local drama competition.

Leopard print will always be utterly tarty and common. That's probably why I rather like it!

I personally have never liked any animal print clothing or accessories as they belong on the animals where they look beautiful.
I do understand that some people do like it and therefore respect their choice. It’s great that we all have our different tastes and choices.
However I do not agree with people wearing genuine animal fur as a statement piece. Although again I do understand people in the Nordic regions wearing hide and fur to keep warm.

TBH I only really like a leopard pattern on leopards.

But then I only like orange on oranges, too. (Or clementines etc.)

I’m really boring. I don’t like leopard print on me, but nor do I like flowers. I prefer plain colours and geometric designs. If pushed I would prefer a bag or pair of shoes that was leopard print rather than a flowery option.

Honestly, I would far rather see people wearing leopard print or any other animal print or fake fur rather than having them wear real leopard /tiger /rabbit/cat etc. etc. skin!

I don't wear fake fur myself, but if others want to, it is no skin of my nose.

Fancyflowers -My Mum always says the same about dyed red hair. She loves natural red hair from the lightest strawberry blonde right through to fiery ginger but not dyed. The names she calls me for having dyed red hair are not printable on here.

Yes, I like it especially with other Rich colours Red, Blues, shocking Pink looks lovely. My mum loved it with a good base colour match too.

I don't like any animal prints, not leopard, cow print or zebra. Not because I think they look cheap or anything of that ilk, I just don't like them in the way some people don't like stripes, checks, polka dots etc. Each to their own, it'd be boring if we all liked the same things. My only complaint is sometimes clothing choices seem overwhelmed by the latest trend, whether I like the trend or not.

Rather a sweeping statement Gran22boy that may be your opinion but I agree with other posters who say a single item in animal print can really lift an outfit.
There are so many varieties of this print I don't think they should all be classified as ' common'.

Some women really carry it off well (I’m not one of them) and do look put together. However, sometimes I wonder if others didn’t check in the mirror first. I saw a woman a few days ago in grey leopard leggings with brown leopard boots and a different shade of brown leopard jumper. She was in her 70s, and really it did not suit her. But, by the time you get to that age you have the right to do your own thing if it’s not affecting anyone else.

I like leopard print because I used to have a leopard print cat, a Bengal.
I have these tops from Roman. I have the grey one in blue. The stripy one I thought was rolling hills but is called tiger.
I wouldn't wear the print on large items, although I do have a dressing gown in it. I don't care if I look 'common', I wear what I like, and it is never beige!

I think a small amount looks fine, shoes bag or scarf, and if you can carry it off even a coat or jacket.Just not head to toes.
