I haven’t worn jeans for years, but fancy getting some.
I don’t want skinny tight jeans but maybe something a bit easy to wear, comfortable.
Has anyone any recommendations please?

Skinnier Jean's are out, its bag to loose baggy Jean's, they look much nicer than showing your camels toe, time those horrid tight leggings went out too, night as well just walk round nude, and the big girls look like an explosion in sausage factory, its lazy clothing

I usually wear Cotton Traders pull-on straight leg jeans, which have stretch and are very comfortable while looking like proper jeans. I recently decided to try their pull-on wide leg jeans. They are a much softer stretchier fabric which doesn't need ironing (nor do the others), so think I will go for them again.
wide leg pull on jeans

Bonmarche jeans are pretty good. I buy them as they do petite lengths. 25". Yes I am a shorty! Recently bought a wide legged pair which are very comfortable and also fashionable.

#Susytish# I do hope you won’t take offence at my sneaking onto your message thread to ask whether anyone can recommend jeans for a personage with a large belly and no real bum to speak of? I always end up with saggy as opposed to a soggy, bottom in order to be able to accommodate my tummy 🙄 Please be kind 🙏

I've bought M & S wide leg jeans. Love them. They are so comfy!

I saw some barrel leg jeans from Tesco recommended in an article on supermarket clothes in The Times recently. They fit me beautifully, I love them , they were ridiculously cheap with a special offer. I bought a 2nd pair & recommended them to several friends, one of whom is a real jeans snob....she bought some!

I tried Halara but they were expensive and just not my shape! I’ve settled on Next after trying several brands. The good thing about Next and M and S is that it’s easy to order online and to return to store without having to pay postage.

Halara jeans for every day use as comfortable as legging , easy to dress up

M&S Sienna jeans suit me. Stretchy, straight leg and a range of leg length.
I have just bought some carrot leg jeans too, as an experiment!

I have at last found jeans that fit perfect ,
Bon Marche, as harrysgran said come in different length and styles.

Go for it. you can also do Click and Collect if you have a local Bonmarche shop near you

Low delivery charge. And free if you spend over £40

Happy jean shopping.
👍👖

I bought some pull-on jeans from Chums. They are comfortable apart from being too long in the body at the front. I have to fold over the waistband just at the front. I am thinking they might be just right for your body shape. www.chums.co.uk/products/lt266/pull-on-jersey-waist-stretch-jean-with-2-front-pockets

Another vote for Asda jeans for every day wear. Not got much choice in this part of wales. However the best pair of jeans ever came from a charity shop with a splash of paint on it. The grand price of 50 p The paint came off with paint stripper without a mark when washed superbly. Apparently I was told they were a very expensive brand.

Jeans for best are Rohan superb fit and wash well

M&S are good for jeans as they have such a wide range of styles and sizes. I also find Tu from Sainsbury's good and they are cheaper than M&S.

I am a NYDJ fan. They are not my daughter's !

Tu from Sainsbury’s rescued me. I’d lost weight and was pretty immobile with spinal problems, in dire need of clothing. I’ve bought them ever since. Wash and wear well too.

t I like Crew Clothing straight leg jeans but theyr're not the cheapest. I wear Bon Marche for indoors and in the garden.

Granny42 Thu 21-May-26 16:43:36

Were they true to size and waist high as low rise jeans do not fit me properly

SueEH Tue 26-May-26 22:26:39

Another vote for Halara; I have a few pairs.
