Basically that really, I wear perfume every single day whether I’m out to shops or just pottering about at home,

In the 1980's my favourite perfume was 'La Rochelle'. I wore it every day. Sadly it has not been for sale since the mid 1980's. I now like Orange blossom scent.

I currently switch between Dolce and Gabana light blue and Sisley Soir de Lune given to by my daughter. I love Joy and have a dupe by Eden perfumes which is very good. Dior now make Joy since Jean Patou ceased.

Obsession and Aromatics Elixir. But sometimes for a light fresh summery feel Rush.

I can never seem to stick to one or two signature scents, my dressing table is weighed down with an array of perfumes including 3 different La Vie Est Belle, Flowerbomb, Obsession, Chanel Coco, the now discontinued Elle and many more. I just choose a scent that I fancy wearing that day and I now try to avoid the perfume section in different stores otherwise I'll be buying more when I already have too many to wear..

Ive recently discovered the Saltworks range. Brown Sugar is my current favourite.
For evenings I've worn Lumierre by L'occitane for.ages and still love it.

Opium,I much prefer the original, but I like all the Black Opiums too.
I have a treasured bottle of L'heure Bleu that I love too,and I'm going to save up for the new one .Honestly though I love all perfume and I don't mind a dupe,or good old Avon!

The one I have used for years and always go back to is Chanel Allure. But I also like the Jo Malone Sea Sage perfumes.
I was given a Sol de Janeiro gift set of perfumes for my birthday. I don’t particularly like them as they are sweet smelling. But at the moment use them for every day until I decide what to buy next.

Used to love Estée Lauder ‘Knowing’ then they removed most of the tree moss which changed the smell completely.
Moved onto Estée Lauder ‘Beautiful’ and have stuck with it for many years.

Parsley3 Tue 22-Sept-26 18:43:16

I am using 'Beautiful ' just now as my summer fragrance and will change to Black Opium for the winter. I do like to wear perfume every day.

Dodo43 Tue 22-Sept-26 19:09:35

I too have, and enjoy, a number of perfumes... Knowing, Orange Vert (Hermes), Soir de Lune, Paloma Picasso, Coco Mademoiselle, but the one I would love to have but which has been discontinued is Helena Rubinstein 's Apple Blossom. Anyone remember it?

Kathmaggie Tue 22-Sept-26 19:44:58

Kate63 Tue 22-Sept-26 19:45:19

I love 24 Fabourgh and none of my friends have heard of it.
For everyday Clinique Happy is my go to.

Daddima Tue 22-Sept-26 19:52:11

Another ‘Beautiful’ fan here, but I mostly wear Agent Provocateur. First by Van Cleef and Arpels and Chanel No5 sometimes too, as I like perfume every day.

Suzieque66 Tue 22-Sept-26 20:33:06

I wear Mens Cologne as its less " flowery " and has more depth .. Angel for Men is Fabulous !

NotSpaghetti Tue 22-Sept-26 20:47:44

I think some of us don't really have a favourite.

I like to have lots of choice every day.

I know I have way too many but I love them all.
Some fragrances don't go with some clothes I think - and others are perfect.

Mollygo Tue 22-Sept-26 21:03:26

My favourite is Fame by Paco Rabanne, but I have several other more flowery ones that I also like.

Fairlandia Tue 22-Sept-26 21:25:02

At the moment I love Fame by Paco Rabanne

DamaskRose Tue 22-Sept-26 21:32:00

I wear perfume everyday - Zara Fashionable London for everyday and Chanel No 19 for nights out (nights out? who am I trying to kid?! 😆, special occasions then).

Mojack26 Tue 22-Sept-26 21:58:08

I love perfume and wear it every day, even if I'm staying at home all day. My all time favourite was Clinique Wrappings, which is now discontinued, but Estee Lauder's Private Collection is very similar, so I now use that. I always have a bottle Chanel No 5 on the go, but it has changed in recent years (lots of vintage perfumes have as they no longer use ambergris as an additive and now use synthetic substitutes). Also love Dioressence, (which I cannot find anywhere, so presume that has also been discontinued) and Guerlain's Mitsouko. All quite strong perfumes, I'm not keen on flowery, powdery perfumes, as I can't smell them!

I don't think anyone's mentioned Dior J'adore, which I wear most days. I love it. (I just wish it wasn't in such a stupidly designed bottle, where the lid is miles taller than the actual bit with the perfume!) I think I will always have to use it because my granddaughter says it 'smells like Granny'!

What a lovely thread, just thinking of the perfumes is bringing back memories of some of the fantastic ladies who wear or wore them.
Mine is L'eau Disney, eau de toilette for day and the perfume for evening. It's been a good to you many years and my daughters notice immediately if I try anything new.
My Mum's was Ameriage.

Shel1951 Wed 23-Sept-26 08:07:47

I love Anais Anais, but go between three as two were presents,Anais Anais I purchased myself,Pear and freesia by Joe Mallone and Intou Calvin Kliene were gifts.

TillyTrotter Wed 23-Sept-26 08:12:58

For the past 5 years my favourite has been Giorgio Armani’s Acqua di Gio.
It is a floral one.
I have some Jo Malone’s handbag size sprays but have not liked them enough to want a full-size bottle.

baubles Wed 23-Sept-26 08:27:48

Over the years I have worn many of the perfumes mentioned here, from Rive Gauche and Anais Anais to Obsession which I wore for years with many of the others in between.

For the last five or more years I’ve worn Jo Malone Red Roses but I think I’m ready for a change.

What I don’t understand though is having, and wearing, so many different perfumes. Doesn’t the scent linger on clothes, especially things which aren’t washed every time they are worn?
