Basically that really, I wear perfume every single day whether I’m out to shops or just pottering about at home,

baubles that’s why I only wear Jo Malone, their fragrances can be layered.

I am lucky that the ones I wear do not clash.

(I am also rather OCD and usually only wear clothes once before washing)

Because I’m very old and would hate to have an old lady smell I am very careful in my choice of perfume. I love very old fashioned Coty L’Aimant which I use daily and which I found on Amazon after a worrying absence, but my special day perfume is Elizabeth Arden Blue Grass. One spray of this gorgeous flowery perfume and I can close my eyes and I’m a young woman again, getting ready to go out for a special occasion with my handsome husband. I have used many perfumes over the years, am I the only person who dislikes Chanel no.5, it’s too heavy for me but I do like Miss Dior. My tastes have altered as I’ve got older but as comments are made that I smell nice I think I’ll stick to Blue Grass, it’s not expensive but it certainly doesn’t smell cheap.

I am another who uses perfume every day.

My current favourite is Lancôme Midnight Rose. I’ve just finished a small bottle of Jo Malone Orange Marmalade. Miss Dior is another favourite. I bought a bottle of an old favourite - Youth Dew - from the airport in July. Apparently it was first sold in 1953 - the year of my birth.

Today I'm wearing Kenzo - Jungle L'Elephant
Yesterday it was Serge Lutens' Serge Noire in the evening and Escentric Molecules' - Molecule 01 in the daytime.
I like to have several to choose from.

Me too!
I have probably more than 25 bottles, all different.
I wear perfume everyday even if I'm just in the house

I love Acqua de Parma cologne which is Italian and unisex, very fresh and light and doesn’t pall. I find I sometimes suddenly go off perfumes and have to get rid of them which is a waste of money. I used to love ‘Bobbi’ by Bobbi Brown but sadly they discontinued it. I never went off it.

My (now) husband bought me "Rive Gauche" in the (early?) 70s.
It seemed very exciting then. .I know he has always loved blue and ha e casually wondered if that's why he chose that one!

I only wish, of thé many wonderful fragrances I have owned since I was a girl, that I could once again smell Revlons Intimate - the original.

I like scent, but think there are too many choices. I’d be quite happy restricted to three; citrus, flowery and musky.
Maybe communist Russia would have suited me!

I love too many and have a drawer full of perfumes 😁, many of which been mentioned in this thread!
At the moment I’m wearing Diorella, my all time favourite but I also love the original Miss Dior and any by Clinique- I so wish they still did Wrappings perfume.
I did like Jo Malone but I’ve finished the bottle of Pomegranate Noir.

I have several and swap around .
White Musk and Dewberry from the Body Shop ( so thrilled when the dewberry relaunched )

Elizabeth Arden Blue Grass (usually in the evening )

Clinique Happy

Florentyna from M&S

When I was young it was Rive Gauche and Anais Anais . My youngest daughter says Anais Anais was the smell of her childhood

Wear perfume every day it’s part of my getting ready routine

Estée Lauder’s azuree has been my favourite for getting on 46 years , never without it….

My DH has bought me Jo Malone every Christmas since he discovered it one year in John Lewis, so my collection is rather random. My favourite otherwise would be Diorissimo.

Oh Dodo, what a happy memory you invoked for me. My mother always wore Apple Blossom by Helena Rubinstein.

I absolutely love So...? Fragrance. It's 100% cruelty-free/they only use scientists that specialize in such things. They have a wide range of perfumes, sprays, etc., in beautiful packaging. They only use the smallest amount of packaging they can, so it saves on plastic and cardboard and so on. And reasonable prices and they deliver within a week of ordering! You can order on a Monday and it's normally delivered on the Wednesday or Thursday!

I also love Giverny, Alien Mugler and a whole load of others!

My absolute favourite is Elle by Yves Saint Laurent. Unfortunately it's hard to find nowadays. I have found one that smells similar and save the real thing for special occasions.

HeavenLeigh Thu 24-Sept-26 22:41:02

For me it’s good girl blush, flower bomb. Sensuous libre and opium black

Thought this may interest those who are keen on cruelty free fragrances.
You may notice La Labo now off the list.
😕
Lolita Lempicka is still there.

I (sadly) love all the packaging, design and total frivolity of perfumes - though do realise it smells the same even if in a boring bottle.
