Do the colours you wear influence your mood or does your mood influence the colours you choose to wear each day?

I felt a bit low yesterday, a bit fragile and sensitive. As I put the pastel pink and blue sweatshirt I had been wearing in the wash I wondered if there’s a link?
So today I looked out a bright navy and white half-zip sweat trimmed with a flash of scarlet over a white t shirt and red beads, dark indigo jeans and red trainers.
Ready to up and at ‘em!

I think you may be right or, another thought, does your mood dictate your choices?

Regardless, where is your navy top from please? grin

If you’re ’ready to up and at ‘em’ I don’t think I’ll comment…..

Why? Or why not?

My mood is definitely influenced by what I wear, and also whether I’ve made an effort to look my best. I’m a lot more positive if my hair is done, make up is on, and I’m wearing a brighter colour. The other big mood lifter is shoes, that Paolo Nutini song was spot on.

I am attracted to bright colour, not garish, Yesterday I was wearing a deep raspberry coloured sweater, to day my sweater is burnt oranga, I do not think they have any affect on my mood. I do not think about clothes in the morning. I have clothes hung up as outfits in my wardrobe and just take the one at the front and one I wore yesterday goes tonthe back. Just the thought of having to think about clothes first thing in the morning gives me the shivers.
