Twitter - please come out and play

I've just set up my DH with a twitter account for his business and just started to tweet on mine again so I will look out for gransnet and everyone else on there.

I've just followed everyone who has given their Twitter handle above. Mine is @anna_cronin and I am about to tweet an early #ff to all fellow Gransnetters
(Will have to be a premature #ff as I leave for work at 8 on a Friday morning, and I am no early bird!)

I don't get it either. It feels as though lots of us are tweeting or pming or meeting up, and not actually chatting on here quite as much.

Do you have to join Twitterland to read what the Gransnet Twitterati are saying "over there"?

If you click on the twitter icon at the top of the page you can see the Gnet contribution but not what our members are saying.

Shouldn't bother bags - it's not very exciting. Useful though if you need action from a company as they don't like to be criticised on Twitter and it does seem to get results then

I have been on twitter for about three years and I love it. I have tweeted with some lovely people from all over the world and met some in real life too. I have a blog and it's great for getting others to read it. My name is @cassam101 and I will follow all who have given their twitter name . Happy tweeting ,give it a go.

It's maybe not for everyone but don't knock it unless you've tried it. Maybe you're not following or being followed by the right people.
