Standing or sitting?

Put this in tech stuff as a bit of a joke. Having a conversation elsewhere- where many people, both men and women, disagree with me about it being the norm here where I live, and in UK- for men to stand when they pee, rather than sit. So- what are the facts. Only one word needed, either for yourselves dads and grandads, or for all the GN ladies about the men in their lives, be it DHs, fathers, sons, grandsons, etc.

SIT or STAND. In my family here and UK it is defo a STAND.

Love that Ariadne, would have copied it and stuck it on the loo wall when I had young and messy boys in the house

One of our installation engineers once came home from a trip to Nigeria, and said that the women stand up too over there. In the middle of the street, with their skirts hitched up to keep them dry.

It's not their skirts staying dry that I was thinking about...

I had a postcard stuck on the wall by the loo when we used to host foreign students

IF YOU SPRINKLE
WHEN YOU TINCKLE
BE A SWEETIE AND
WIPE THE SEATIE

didn't always work, and I remember the unpleasant take given to OH to have a serious talk about WC manners with one f the boys, twice- until things improved.
