Most of my music is stored on iTunes. I wonder if your phone would be compatible with that so I could transfer music over.
I know that nearly everyone is familiar with iTunes ..except me. 
I've never used it, so can't comment on what's possible. However, if you can download music from iTunes in the MP3 format to the computer, then you should be able to transfer the MP3 music files to a folder on the Windows phone and play them.
