Went to Butlins, Ocean hotel at Bognor Regis last year with husband , daughter and grandson. I would really recommend it.

GS loved it all, he was two.So nice for him to run around safely and everything and everybody child friendly.

I had never been before so had no idea what to expect but we went term time and there were lots of families with toddlers having fun.

The hotel was the cleanest i had ever been in.
DD,DGS and myself are going again this year.

I suspect Butlins is a bit like Marmite you either love or hate it, but i would be interested to know what others think of family holidays

Helpful Holidays are a company which specialises in the West Country, and I can't praise them too highly. We have never been disappointed with any of their properties and the efficiency and customer service is second to none. They have some big properties and if you phone them and chat through your requirements they are really helpful.

Can't remember the website address offhand, but google will find them.

Hope you enjoy yourselves as much as we do on our multi-generation hols.

gillifer we took the GS's to a campsite near Studland in Dorset. The beach is so good for young children - loads of sand and calm seas. Lots to see and do there as well. Now we are growing up - well 8 and 13 next year - we are surfing in Cornwall.
