Nowhere but my garden today. The sun and the longer shadows......

If it was raining I'd say Barcelona.

I think Scotland , the most pretty place I have ever been to. Fort William. Chuck warm stuff in a bag, get to railway station and off I'd go.

Iona or Mull or the Trough of Bowland or Guyzance Hall near Morpeth or the Star or the Pheasant at Harome or the Angel at Hetton. Dream on

Greek islands

I would say the Isles of Scilly, but I bet it's raining there too, so the south of France instead... the Carmargue nature reserve west of Marseilles.

Devon or Cornwall. A cosy Inn.

North Cornwall coast, wonderful when it's wild, wet and windy. Definitely need to take the right clothes and, like rose, would want to stay in a cosy inn.

Lacock in Wiltshire and stay in an ancient inn, where we would sleep in a bed which once belonged to Isambard Kingdom Brunel, have a lovely lunch, explore the National Trust Abbey there, do some walking and have afternoon tea somewhere. (We did these things a couple of years ago for my birthday, and also attended a Carol service in the church which ended with a mince pie and a glass of wine.)
