Hot holiday destinations in October please....

Hi, we are looking to book a week away in the sun in October so that we can just chill and do very little, where would you advise please? We have never been away that late before. I know what the brochures say the temperatures are but I would rather hear it from personal experience.

Cape Verde but it is 5 1/2 hrs we found the flight went quite quickly.

Portugal, I would say that as I live there part of the year. For the south Algarve and warmest area you can fly into Faro but if you want sea and beach plus interesting places look at Cascais area. Good beaches. Interesting town and 30 minute cheap train ride into Lisbon one of the most popular destinations in Europe. If it is not as warm as you expected there is plenty to do.

Cape Verde looks really nice georgiejg. We have had a terrible 12 months with one thing and another, it ticks all the boxes of what we are after, lots of sunshine and relaxation.

Florida is nice in October, as are the islands off the USA southeast coast.
