Does anyone have a comfortable and lightweight folding chair please?

My son says just order several and test them on the lawn.

I ordered several beach chairs from Amazon, but we tried them indoors so we didn't get the feet dirty as I knew some would be going back.
I wanted a high back and a low seat, which I found and am happy with, but it wouldn't be what you're looking for 😐

Was just thinking that (our) lawn was less flat than the carpet!

I did but it collapsed under me yesterday.

Also, if you are already unstable (like me) then falling over is more likely anyway.

Directors chairs - fabulous, but in a garden. Bit heavy to take to beach.
Folding chairs - perfect for the beach. Lightweight, with arms and tubular frames - not 4 thin legs. Any chairs with 4 straight legs, plonk them down on sand, and risk that the whole chair is then a bit Brahms & Liszt and the occupant more so, or upended onto the beach!!

Tesco have some very stable cane & metal chairs reduced from £20 to £11. Very good value, easy to carry & very stable.

Meant to say, they easily fold up.
