Yay, I'm a Celebrity is coming back. Bet this divides us. Must admit I love it. Enjoy seeing the celeb's (admit they are usually lesser celebs) true colours. Sometimes quite surprising just how mentally strong some can be. Really looking forward to it. Something else to record and keep up to date with......

I always say that I won't watch that rubbish and then I always get sucked in!.The best ever for me was when Paul Burrell had to put his hand down those holes filled with creatures, and he nearly wet himself. I have NEVER laughed so much! Brilliant TV.

Wouldn't it be great if they took Nancy del'Olio? Woops! crossed threads there.

Annika Thu 03-Nov-11 20:36:37

I love I'm a Celebrity, its my guilty pleasure. I know its utter rubbish and they are not in the deep of the jungle, and I will spend most of my time watching it with my hands over my eyes.
Most of the celebrities I will have never heard of but we all know the sort that will be there , a glamour model, some actor we have not seen on tv for a long time and a miserable git who we will all come to love !wink
Can't wait grin

Annika Thu 03-Nov-11 20:37:25

Annobel she would be worth watching

Unfortunately I understand that one of the contestants is to be Freddie Starr.I don't know whether he is capable of behaving well so we shall see if that is entertaining or just annoying as I suspect!.

Annika Thu 03-Nov-11 20:48:30

Oh no not Freddie Starr he can be very annoying, but the one one person I would hate to see on there would be Jim Davidson he is more than annoying. I saw him a few years ago on a celebrity cooking programme, he can be very rude, I don't mean rude as in blush I mean hurtful rude

Carol Thu 03-Nov-11 21:08:46

Yes, can't stand either of them. Can't wait for I'm a Celebrity - it's my favourite. Paul Burrell - what a wuss! Soooo funny.

bikergran Thu 03-Nov-11 21:28:26

like other post..I get sucked into watching it,.. I think at times we sometimes need a little light refreshment lol...and a bit of cheesy tv..lol.

I like I'm a celebrity and have enjoyed the past few yrs programme's,it would be amazing if Nancy and Freddie Starr where on the programme I hate to think how he would embarrass her as we all know his humour is very near the bone, but the same guy is the nicest bloke you would ever wish to meet,he does a lot for charity which is not made public and help's with the homeless at Christmas,on top of that he has the most fantastic voice and is very under rated for his singing,he should have been a recording artist instead of a comedian.Wonder who the other celeb's will be ?

Annika Thu 03-Nov-11 21:56:55

I have heard rumours.... Jewardshock

mrshat Thu 03-Nov-11 21:58:41

Afraid this one is not for me. Watched the first few series and then tired of it. Maybe I am getting too squeamish (?spelling) in my old age wink

glammanana Thu 03-Nov-11 21:59:41

Annika I find them so funny but would the other contestant's be able to put up with them and could Nancy understand them that's the big question.

Annika Thu 03-Nov-11 22:12:33

glammanana never mind would the other contestants being able to put up with them, will I ?
Would love it if Nancy were on it, just the thought of her and the "bush tucker trials" makes me smile smile

glammanana Thu 03-Nov-11 22:23:11

Hoping its true that she is on it can't wait winkI am with you about those boy's don't know how their parent's put up with them, but if they are pulling in the cash you can't knock them.

Annobel Thu 03-Nov-11 22:52:59

Blimey, that's how rumours start! I only said wouldn't it be great if she was on it. Don't think for a moment that they'd have her on it so soon after Strictly.

Annobel Thu 03-Nov-11 22:55:02

Come to think of it, who would be our ideal group of contestants? Do we want maximum conflict? all lovey? or a bit of what the tabloids refer to as 'frolicking'?
Any ideas?

shysal Fri 04-Nov-11 08:45:19

Widdie would be good !

Jedward were well liked by the other contestants on Celebrity Big Brother, which amazed me. They were in a bubble of their own, making their own entertainment.

nanapug Fri 04-Nov-11 19:30:19

Ooooh yes, I love the idea of Widdie!!

I watched the first show last night. I thought Freddie Starr was rather a sad figure, hardly fit enough to take part. The others seem a mixed bunch, who will probably be mothered by Lorraine Chase and annoyed by Spephanie Powers and Willie Carson. Steph is a vegetarian, wonder how she will be able to perform the trials involving eating animal body parts, it will cause resentment if she refuses.
Who are your favourites so far?

glammanana Mon 14-Nov-11 09:30:12

Quite a mixed bunch really,I was looking forward to seeing Freddie Starr, but was not really impressed, lets see what the next few days bring,Chrissy Rock will be a lifeline for the younger one's she has such a great outlook on life, she is a friend of our's from our time in Spain and is just the same in every day life what you see is what you get.Agree with you shysal about Steph/Lorraine,Steph will upset re animal bits and bobs and Lorraine will become mum.

Oh. I thought somebody was going to own up to being a celeb. [Dissappointed emo]
