Is anyone watching this tonight (I'm on record so a little behind). I am again struck by the great need of so many families and children. I can sleep soundly tonight knowing that my own children and g/c are safe and secure but it's not the story for so many.......I am so affected by some of the stories sad

Me too - I was particularly moved by the children in Gareth Malone's choir who appeared to have quite severe learning difficulties. When I hear of distressing cases I just count my blessings. It is shocking that there is such need in a developed, prosperous country like our own.
Television commercials for the NSPCC have me in tears, as I think I have said on another thread.

How do they manage to raise such huge sums in a recession?

Elliot's story had me in tears and reading this made me remember that we haven't yet donated blush apart from five pounds using the mobile to donate to Matt Baker - what a lovely man he seems to be and what an undertaking smile
