I have just watched the final Inspector Morse and although I knew it was only acting and also a repeat for the umpteenth time, it was as fresh as if it had been new. And I cried.
So we are to get "Endeavour" on Monday, I wonder if that will be any good? Can it come close to John Thaw?

I miss John Thaw. I loved both Morse and Kavanagh, Q.C.
Lewis is good, though.

Been watching the first ever episode today in ITV 1. Can never understand the plots, but worth it for Thaw and the Morse/ Lewis dynamic. And it's so elegant and classy! And improbable, but who cares?
