I must be soft in the head but I really enjoyed last night's episode of Corri'. Becky, for all her faults, was a good girl. I appreciated that her story-line ended happily ever after...sunshine The 'Becky' actress is now moving on to do Shakespeare. Congratulations and thanks

She is such a good actress supernana I saw her give an interview last week on TV and seems such a lovely girl,on a different note how lucky is she to go off into the yonder with the handsome x-doctor from Holby/Casualty (can't remember which one) he is defininatly an improvement on Stevegrin

Oh Supernana! I was so pleased to see your comment as I felt exactly the same. I thought Becky was a tremendous character. Yes she did some 'dodgy' deals but always for the right reason and Kathryn Kelly's acting was superb especially during the storylines involving Max.
If you are soft in the head I must be as well!!! grin

You are not the only one who is soft in the head. When Becky was saying her goodbyes out side the Rovers there were 4 people crying, Becky, Roy, Hayley, ..... and me !!! I was so glad that DH was out playing darts !

I'll second that. The plot was probably a bit far fetched, with everything falling into place for Becky within a week but it makes a nice change to have a happy ending instead of the usual doom and gloom. I reckon the mood of the whole nation would improve if all the soap writers would make an effort to give us some 'feel good' storylines.

Yes, me too. Lots of luck to her. Kathryn Kelly is a good actress and it would be shame to see her locked into Corrie. I can't have been the only one who leapt up off the sofa, punched the air and said "Yes!" when she stuck it to Tracy and Steve!

Granny23 I do agree! It is very satisfying when there's a bit of a "comeuppance" too, which there was here.

But one has to forget just how many weddings have been wrecked in "Corrie"!

Kathryn Kelly was believable as Becky...the mark of a good actress. I'm delighted that other GNs enjoyed her contribution to Corri. I grin when in the final few moments of the farewell episode, we saw her travelling in style with a gorgeous man and a delightful wee boy...the stuff of happy ever afters. sunshine
