Just seen - it's 'The Firefly Cage' which I have on DVD as part of the collections of the first series. Hope they keep showing more, though. Enjoy!!

Happy days!!! (Wonder how i can get back from DH in time - plead a migraine? He already knows that if I am not there until after 3 I have been watching Escape to the Country!)

If all else fails it might have to be Amazon and a boxed set. Getting to know the c ourier really well, think I might be godmother to her first-born grin

Get the boxed set and do what I did a couple of years ago - spent every afternoon for over a week working my way through the first series and part of the second. What a delight!

Use to love watching Lovejoy. What was it the autioneer use to say 'Don't loose it madam, don't loose it for a tenner' something like that.I think it was in the title sequence.

Is it on every afternoon? I'm going to start watching it, as they should have got to the end of the first series if it's on every day. Bliss! I got my love of antiques from watching Lovejoy, enrolled on a rubbish antiques course with the WEA (left it part way through - so dry and boring), and started going to antique fairs - there's something compelling and romantic about looking around a room full of beautiful antiques and speculating about their history.
