There must be a limited pool of actors in Denmark- I have just turned on ITV3 to something called "Those Who Kill" and have already seen Trols from "The Killing" and the red headed secretary from "Borgen"!

I am addicted to these Danish programmes! Nearly fluent in Danish too!

I've started buying Danish/Swedish films - and yes, the same actors keep appearing, but they're soooo good.

I love them, I miss Borgen and enjoyed The Killing. I think it is no different from here, we have alot of actors who pop up on films and television fairly consistently.

Well, was the new one any good??? I have taped it, but not yet watched. According to a preview I read, it wasn't upto much and very gruesome.

On a different subject anybody watch the Italian detective on Saturday nights BBC4. I have watched two of them, but seem so dated, and overlong. Don't think I will bother anymore.
The problem is my Swedish/Danish is now almost perfect, but don't speak any Italian!!!

Just watched the recording of Those Who Kill. Brilliantly acted and excellent cinematography, but I felt the graphic sadism was overdone - we had got the message and did not need it to be rubbed in.

I like Montalbano, the Italian one - I like the humour - very unlike the Danish ones.
