Ooh yes! He can make the most ordinary sentence sound passionate!! (Maybe I do need to get out more)

My very, very favourite is Monty Halls. He was on Channel 5 (I think) recently doing an underwater programme. I hope he comes back (with Reuben) to do more programmes like the ones in the Hebrides, the Western Highlands and Ireland.

Oo yes, Brian Cox and Neil Oliver I agree. Have you seen Jessie Pavelka? He's rather young, about 30 I think but he's lovely. He has been advertising something he's going to be doing on Daybreak soon (he's a diet and fitness expert). Even the female presenters on ITV have been going all unnecessary when they run the advert.

I've liked Simon Reeve for quite a while [can't remember the first series he did, though]. Used to like Benedict Allen [not sure what he's up to these days]. Don't really like Neil Oliver; thought I'd love the recent series he made [may still be on] but it didn't grip me enough to carry on watching. I was gripped by the series about shipwrecks recently and the guy who made it is in that Grand Canyon series thats on tonight [not one of the young pretty presenters but the 'slightly older but with short, greying hair and not a bit of fat on him' type that I find rather attractive these days ].

Also Francesco Da Mosto who did a couple of series about his home city, Venice. Not so much the way he looks, but he has a lovely way with him. I love Venice so that may have something to do with it. I have to admit that I queued up when he did a book signing in town . Enviousamerican - I love that you got stuffing mix when you googled Paxo

Oh swoon! Francesco da Mosta - NOT a conventionally good looking man, in fact I think he looks a bit like an Italian painting of a Borgiaor a Medici! But what an attractive man!

Soutra - yes I agree. I met him at the book signing and I am ashamed to say I was going to say how much I enjoyed his programmes but I just gawped at him as he signed my book!

Oh KatyK I'm so jealous. I loved all his programmes. Television seems very short of cultured people sometimes.
I don't mind Neil Oliver, but DH always turns him off as he can't stand his accent. No problems with Francesco's lovely seductive accent! And I've had a soft spot for Paxo for a long time

Well Deedaa I am a bit long in the tooth for queuing up to see famous people but on this occasion I couldn't help myself! I was working at the time and asked my boss if I could have an extended lunch hour to go to see Francesco. She said OK and lots of people were asking me who he was as they had never heard of him. I showed them his pic on the computer and lots of the young folks were saying 'he's a bit old isn't he' (cheek). I think it was a topic of much amusement in the office that a soon to be 60 year old would queue to meet someone! Did I care? Not a bit I joined the queue and there was Francesco sitting at a table, a bottle of red wine at his side, looking gorgeous (to me anyway).

I've been in love with Francesco since his very first appearance! I started a Facebook group - Francesco da Mosto Fan Club - but it has only two members of whom I am one!

Francesco da Mosta was very much my (mature) glass of wine. So Italian with his seductive accent and cute giggle. And he has a Venetian palace too!! Bought his first book as I love Venice. He didn't unfortunately make it as far as N. Ireland to sign it or I would have been in the queue.

But of the young presenters, Brian Cox and Simon Reeve do it for me. Very attractive young men and easy on the eye. Oh and I enjoyed their programmes as well ...... when I could concentrate.

Simon Reeves programme about Cuba was brilliant; I missed the one about tea last night [the S.O. says it was very good]. Brian Cox is quite a bit older than he looks I think [just going to google him].

Brian Cox was in a 'pop' group in the '90s D'ream - Things Can Only Get Better - but then you probably already know that

He's in his mid forties .

He always reminds me of the pretty one from Blur and the pretty one from Radiohead.
