Camilla on 'This Morning' tomorrow.

I am following the TV coverage of the Queen's long reign. We are lucky to have her. I think Camilla's comments will be interesting because, like it or not, she will be the one playing the supporting role to Charles when the Queen dies.

I must try to remember to watch, I like Camilla , she conducts herself with dignity and makes no attempt to get on the front pages of the red tops

I too like Camilla, she always seems to have a ready smile, and I think Charles has become a little more 'human' over the years since he married her. Good luck to her, and i am quite sure she will not utter a word out of place tomorrow.

He did what was asked and expected of him , something not one of us would ever had to do.

It seems unlikely that the queen will "hand over the reins" – or even reigns – given the history of her parents and Uncle David. I don't think, constitutionally, she has a legitimate choice to say that she wants to skip the Heir Apparent in favour of some other family – or even distant family – member.

I must say I think Camilla has been very successful in establishing herself, with little or no fuss, in the public mind as A Good Thing, and that much of the sentiment against her has now fallen away.

I do sometimes wonder if Charles will ever be King, he seems more politically involved than perhaps a monarch should be, if you know what I mean.

He will be king. Of course he will.

As for Camilla I think after all the bile she received she has been accepted by the majority. She seems to have a good sense of humour and is a people person , or so it appears.

She could have made a fortune from kiss and tell stories but obviously her love for Charles was genuine. I know some will say well the desire to be a royal consort might have been a more beneficial goal but I prefer not to snipe from the side lines.

I think as the years have progressed the public has had time to process what occurred with Dianna and Charles. He was a young man and the curse of being the next in line meant he was 'obliged' to marry with an unspoken remit attached to his choice. A married woman with children was impossible for him to marry the love he wanted.

I hope Charles with Camilla by his side will prove to be a good king. I think he will suffer more opposition from those with a republican agenda as I firmly believe there has been a given whilst the Queen was alive she would never be overthrown (there will be more of the 'black spider letters' type accusations by the Guardian et all I have no doubt)

I quite like her and William and Harry have accepted her so who are we not to.

The more I see of Camilla the more I can understand why Charles said, after Diana died, that his relationship with her was 'non negotiable.'

She knows exactly what makes him tick and how to handle his allegedly difficult behaviour. Unlike Diana she brings out the best in him so he's very lucky that she'll be by his side when he eventually gets a go in the driving seat.

Phoenix , I assumed there was no need for me to say he could opt out, surely everyone knows this. Neither did I think there was a need to say - if we have a referendum on abolition of the monarchy , again I think everyone knows this , if some don't I am sure they will be grateful to you for advising them

I think she would have accepted not marrying him and remained his companion, as they are married I think she will be an excellent queen consort and hope she will be allowed this title which is hers by right

We are all assuming that Charles will outlive the Queen who may well live as long, or even longer than her Mother did, i.e. 100+. He may not survive to reign. I remember Diana saying, in the famous Panorama interview, that she did not think he would ever have "top job" as she called it. Time will tell.

I think Camilla has been very good for Charles but I can't forgive them for the way Diana was treated and used as a brood mare and expected not to mind them carrying on behind her back. She only went off the rails when that happened.

I can't forget her saying there were three of us in the marriage yet she had no problem in being the third in other women's marriages

I remember her saying that, but can't remember if any of the men she was involved with were married at the time or not.

True - re Diana and married men - but I agree she was badly treated and she was very young and na??ve when she married PC. Surely there should have been someone to warn her of what to expect?

Camilla has gone from being hated to being recognised as a good thing, so bully for her, she's done well. PC should definitely become King, after all, haven't we all paid towards his training? I don't want him wasting that.
