The original one is full, having reached 1,000 posts shock, so I thought we could start again!

merlotgran Fri 19-Feb-16 20:38:39

I agree. It's going off at a tangent. The original plot was bad enough but do we need all this?

mrshat Fri 19-Feb-16 20:40:41

Now, more than ever, I don't think Ursula is Rob's mother!! grinconfused

starbird Fri 19-Feb-16 23:46:37

Maybe she is his older lover, and having gained Helen's trust she will come back when the baby is born to care for Helen, who will have an accident or be persuaded that she is mad and commit suicide, leaving Rob with her money, property and business, and his very own son, which his older lover is too old to give him!

katie1 Sat 20-Feb-16 00:42:35

I don't think Ursula is his old lover, but I could see them doing away with Helen and taking the children.

katie1 Sat 20-Feb-16 00:47:13

I listen to it when I am preparing the evening meal and making my salad for work the next day.

Iam64 Sat 20-Feb-16 13:14:10

I've listened to last nights episode on catch up. How creepy was that phone call between rob and Ursula.
I suspect Rob sent the Valentine's card to Adam but maybe I'm losing the plot

Alea Sat 20-Feb-16 13:51:06

But didn't Ursula and Rob's father pay a flying visit a little while ago, so Helen must have met them then confused

Iam64 Sat 20-Feb-16 14:02:10

Yes you they did Alea and Ursula wasn't the charmer she's currently masquerading as ?

merlotgran Sat 20-Feb-16 14:21:50

Why hasn't the dinner party 'no show' been mentioned. Surely Pat would have said something when they were all together?

It's getting a bit silly now.

Iam64 Sat 20-Feb-16 17:01:03

what dinner party no show merlotgran? I haven't heard every episode this week

AyjayF Mon 22-Feb-16 23:11:41

Whatever has happened to Doctor Locke??

phoenix Wed 24-Feb-16 19:09:51

Gobsmack comment tonight, Ursula to Helen, "Don't let yourself be pressurised into doing something that doesn't feel right for you" shock

AyjayF Wed 24-Feb-16 19:44:18

Something else for Helen to worry about. Let's hope she talks to Pat.

merlotgran Wed 24-Feb-16 20:37:30

It was ages ago, Iam, before Rob and Helen were married.

Rob, Helen, Pat and Tony were sitting at the table waiting for the future in-laws to arrive but.......Rob obviously hadn't invited them. He was quite nasty about his parents which is weird given that Ursula is now flavour of the month confused

I'm surprised Pat didn't mention it when she had the chance but I suppose the SW thinks we've forgotten about it.

Iam64 Wed 24-Feb-16 20:42:06

Thanks merlot- I remember he's never been positive about his parents, particularly his mother.
I haven't heard tonights so I'll say/ask no more.

chloe1984 Thu 25-Feb-16 09:52:04

I am convinced that Ursula is not Rob's Mother she is all part of his 'takeover' bid for the Bridge farm part of the Archers. Soon Henry will be sent away to school and Helen will be isolated in the cow shed (for her own good of course) I just wish it all would end soon as its really starting to freak me out.

merlotgran Thu 25-Feb-16 10:09:38

Surely they won't kill Helen off in childbirth?

They've already had the death of one major character at Bridge Farm.

AyjayF Thu 25-Feb-16 10:34:32

Bet Miles ( Robs brother) is lovely!

AyjayF Thu 25-Feb-16 10:36:46

The Rob/ Helen storyline is popping up everywhere. Even Stuart Maconie was talking about it on 6 Music the other afternoon

baNANAGran3 Thu 25-Feb-16 16:56:08

Phoenix - you're so right, I've just caught up with a few episodes while ironing and that sentence stood out as very creepy. Ursula is doing exactly what Rob does, telling Helen what to do but in an underhand insidious way. (i.e. having a home birth when she patently wants and needs a hospital one!)

Surely Helen must realise by now that Rob and Ursula are just weirdos, the storyline can't go on like this for too much longer or it will get a bit monotonous but having said that, I quite like the terror of it all in a strange way! shock

phoenix Thu 25-Feb-16 17:30:21

I have a horrible feeling that this will not be resolved until at least the birth, and maybe not even then!

Somebody remind me, how many weeks is Helen pregnant at the moment?

merlotgran Thu 25-Feb-16 19:29:09

A glimmer of hope at last!

phoenix Thu 25-Feb-16 19:33:28

Are you sure, merlot? I wouldn't get your hopes up!

baNANAGran3 Thu 25-Feb-16 20:45:33

Phoenix - Helen is pregnant probably about - er - 44weeks? (Seems like it anyway..) smile

Luckygirl Thu 25-Feb-16 22:44:44

Any hint of Helen being out at risk by having a home delivery should press buttons for Pat.
