Best Disney films to watch with a 4 year old?

My little granddaughters (4 and 6) like Tangled and Brave. (Frozen is, of course, their favourite!) The Little Mermaid is a classic and The Lion King is ok but a bit sad.

My 2year-old twin GC, boy and girl, love "The Aristocrats", as do I.

Pocahontas is good - we watched it repeatedly last summer. My grandson's favourite is a c-beebies version of Peter Pan ( you can probably get it on the I -player). It's his comfort programme when he is tired! I know it off by heart?

My children liked Winnie the Pooh films and my grandchildren liked Finding Nemo so much my son threatened us if we so much as mentioned fish

Waveney, the c-beebies version of Peter Pan is fantastic - not sure who loves it more, my DGS or me!

What age is your granddaughter as some Disney stories can be a bit dark to start with (Bambi and The Good Dinosaur might have crying her eyes out and you saying "it'll be ok on repeat for the first 20 minutes). UP will have her asking why you have wet eyes but is a really lovely film and you can look online about the real UP house (Google Edith Macefield, Up house).

Tinkerbell films (Neverbeast one might upset her though).

Toy story series and Finding Nemo (with perhaps a trip to the cinema to see the new film Finding Dory).

Minions films (Despicable Me) are funny

If she's into Barbie there are literally loads of those (box sets are best as world out about £2 a DVD).

Descendants (if she likes musicals and singing / dancing).

Brave (I'm Scottish so had to include that one lol!).

Take her to asda or Tesco as they normally have loads of kids DVDs and she can pick out ones she likes the look of. Older Films like Bolt (also really good and about a dog that thinks it's a superhero) are normally about £5 or so.

Recently the whole family watched the movie Albert: Up, Up And Away! - I strongly advise to view. You can even view online, for example on viooz.one/ - there are a lot of movies in great quality). Albert: Up, Up And Away! Is an animated adventure based on the book by beloved Danish children's writer, Ole Lund Kirkegaard. Full of action and laughs, Albert also teaches children an important lesson on the value of friendship as young Albert goes on an epic quest to become a balloon captain.

The 2016 film Moana is simply wonderful, vivid and a girl who saves her tribe (tho enjoyable to all) MY DGD was addicted to it aged 4 to 6. So was I.

Paw Patrol though not Disney.

This could still be going when the granddaughter is 24.
